This meal started out really nice and the food and service were excellent until the restaurant got busy…. I had to get out of my seat twice to ask for the check and we ended up waiting 40 minutes for the check, basically as long as we had spent eating. I’d highly recommend that Estrella hire additional staff in the busy season, or remove several tables to make it more manageable. They seemed completely overwhelmed. And for potential diners, I’d highly recommend reconsidering...

It is impossible to describe in words the quality of the dishes, the atmosphere and the positive energy that reigns in this place. Excellent restaurant in Lisbon, I went twice after discovering it on holiday even though it's not like me to go back to the same place twice in a row. Dishes with attention to detail with typical ingredients of Portuguese cuisine but revisited in a modern and sophisticated way. The bill lives up to the quality of the place. I will recommend it...
