SUBA Restaurante, located in the 5-star Verride Palacio Santa Catarina Hotel, offers an extraordinary culinary experience with beautiful views of the Tragus River and Lisbon estuary. The restaurant features a minimalist decor and accommodates up to 20 guests, providing an elegant and inviting ambiance. The service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who enhance the dining experience.
The tasting menu boasts exquisite dishes that blend flavors and textures perfectly. Highlights include a snack of chips presented on a Lisbon tram, a giblet dumpling, and main dishes such as oyster with caviar on panna cotta, scallop and crayfish with butter sauce, and cured pigeon served with its own broth. The restaurant provides a memorable experience, with the rooftop offering stunning views for pictures, even when the bar is closed. Special occasions are enhanced with thoughtful touches like a complimentary cake.
The service is simply amazing, from the very first greeting at the door to the final goodbye. The dishes are unfailingly delightful and delicious, with a particular standout being the suckling goat. The sommelier picks perfect wine pairings that complement and enhance each dish. It's an experience that takes about three hours for the four-course chef's menu, with three small appetizers and one pre-dessert. The restaurant has the feeling of a private club, and the presentation is world-class.
