“What we ordered was very good, soup of the day with vegetables and legumes, rice with octopus, and homemade caramel cream for dessert. The service is fast and the waiters very attentive, they have invited us to ginja liqueur. Recommended site!“

“Wow, this is the place I came to two days in a row.
A real seafood restaurant of the best!!!!!!! Come to Lisbon and come here
You'd be stupid if you didn't eat it, really..
I recommend that you make a reservation before going.
Be sure to try the octopus (poppo dish) and cutlassfish dish!!!!
I think I’ll remember this even when I go to Korea ㅠㅠ
It's a bit scary on the way up, so ladies, make sure to go when the sun is shining! Absolutely“

“The food is amazing! The arroz de marisco is delicious with a hint of coriander, and the shrimp pasta is flavorful, though the spaghetti could be more al dente. The attendants were kind and considerate. one didn’t rush me when I was browsing the menu before deciding to dine. The other offered us ginja, a Portuguese liqor made by infusing ginja berries. Everything we tried is first time and we love it!“

“Fantastic experience. When you come in, there is bread, butter, olives, ham & cheese on the table - you do not have to take it, but you'll miss out. It's so good! We chose the fish and were not dissapointed. They brought a whole lobster for 2 people, plus shrimps and clams - on top of the dish Base with rice, port and small shrimps
Extensive wine list - we were overwhelmed and asked out server for a recommendation. She suggested a very well priced red that was a good match for our meal.
Recommend.“

Her recommendations were spot on, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend it and would definitely return, especially for the wonderful service!“

“We were recommended by a friend. And everything was perfect. We went early, and we got rid of waiting, because when we left there was a long line. Exceptional service, the waitress was perfect. It has two parts, one for at most 4 people, and the other part for groups. Without a doubt, I would return. Recommended ?/?.
Good price.“

“Restaurant that I highly recommend. Very welcoming and attentive servers. Very nice pieces of fish and meat. 13€ for the salmon steak with fries and salad. 59€ for 3 with shared starter, main course and soft drink. Very good value for money“

“Coming to Lisbon, we couldn't miss the restaurant of chef Louise Bourrat, and we were won over! The 10-course menu and its 8 wines was a real pleasure from start to finish, a journey of flavor allowing us to discover Portuguese cuisine. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have allergies, or if you don’t like certain foods (cilantro, cucumber, etc.), the menu is adapted for you.
All this is accompanied by very pleasant attentive service. We highly recommend!“

“Great local seafood restaurant in Lisbon!
We had Cod filet, clamps, seafood rice, and garlic prawns (so good that we even forgot to take photo). All the seafood here is really fresh and the seasoning is simple but heightening the flavors of the original ingredients.
This place seems more for local Lisbon people to have a beer and some seafood snacks not tourist-oriented. The price here is very reasonable. The interior decoration is also very simple. Staff here might not speak English, but they still try offering friendly services.
Definitely a place worth a visit for local seafood experience in Lisbon.“

“We were two people, we ordered Portuguese style bitoque and bait.
I haven't eaten such tasty bait in a long time.
The bitoque, the meat very tender, and the sauce well seasoned.
I recommend it, and I will return because of the friendliness, the good homemade food and the good atmosphere.“

“Lively, local, chaotic wonderful. Shrimp and garlic, clams and garlic, scarlet prawns, edible crab and that bread!
Delicious food, friendly kind and service and a raucous crowd made for an unforgettable first meal in Lisbon. A must when you come to Portugal! From central Lisbon it's about $6-8 in a cab“

“Look, it's definitely not a tourist restaurant. Do you want to eat well? Then he found the place. Tomorrow I'm going again, good for me as it's close to home. Fantastic sea bream, shrimp starter with garlic too, warm bread to accompany. Very good service, an Indian boy who speaks Portuguese well served me very well.
Thanks :)“

“I highly recommend it. The food is good, the space is quiet and we were very well served by Luís.
I will definitely come back to eat the same, I didn't think I would like a meat dish made in a seafood restaurant so much ??“

“The food was good!
The dishes were well made, good plating and presentation.
As for the dishes, rich, flavorful, you could tell that the product was good. We noticed the care in the plating and the service was very friendly (both the girl and the boy).
The price may be a little high for what we ordered, but not excessive.“

“SPECTACULAR RESTAURANT WITH TRADITIONAL, CHEAP AND ABUNDANT FOOD IN THE PUREST OF LISBON. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ?
Extensive menu, delicious, cheap and abundant in its dishes. Located in the Bairro Alto of Lisbon, in streets that convey the purest of Lisbon.

“TOP place to eat in Belém, after visiting the neighborhood eating here (even when tired) makes you feel full and satisfied. The steak with egg is incredible, but the stone-grilled steak exceeds expectations. The wait at rush hour (14-15) and in August can be a little longer, as is normal, but it is worth it.“

“For the sake of this friendly restaurant, which is appreciated for its aesthetic environment, menu and service, I regret having to point out the lack of cordiality shown by SOME of the team members at the service, which, of course, needs to improve!
The customer is never taken for granted. Spend more sometimes or spend less sometimes, the customer must always be served with respect and kindness and not subject to the luck and mood of SOME employees and even hear reprimands from colleagues. It's not a category! Better is required.“

“Perfect view, service and food! We didn't reserve and yet, everyone here made it possible for us to get a table near the water (my daughter wanted it so much!). As for the food it's really delicious and the service and smiles were at least as good as food ? second time here and it is now sure we will come again ?“

“Was nervous coming here as 1) our favourite is (was Ramiro) and 2) the reviews others have written.
Ended up loving it here: food is better, prices are similar, no queues and the vibe is chill. It was so good I came twice in two days“

“We had an excellent lunch. We loved the atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly. What made our lunch so special was our Waiter Emerson. He recommended great food and was incredibly helpful and kind. Unfortunately they had a shift change so we didn't get to say a special thank you to him so here it is. Thanks for making our lunch so special Emerson.“

“Excellent place for lunch or dinner in Lisbon!
It is very close to the historic center of Lisbon and the food is very good at a very good price for being in the center.

“10/10 experience. If you’re questioning whether or not to go, don’t, just go. The 10 course tasting (really 14 with desserts) was SO tasty and affordable. Our server was a standout as well. They connected with each table, clearly cared if you were enjoying your experience, was attentive but not overbearing, and had an overall great presence and energy. I would definitely go again!“

“Such a special place and an absolute must for dinner in Lisbon.
The food was incredible and the small details within their wonderful service was so very special.
Make sure you book... It's hard to get a table and you definitely can't just walk in. (August)“

“You MUST eat and drink here!!! Checked out food and drink menus for over a dozen places and Can the Can stood out - the Pica Pau is the best I’ve ever had - exceptional service (Leticia is amazing) and the drinks are second to none - tell Anthony or Daniel what you’re looking for at the bar and they won’t disappoint. Beyond dining and drinking - Try the Garum - if you like food, you will need to get this!“

“Taken by friends, as I was unfamiliar with the place, it proved to be a gastronomic surprise, despite the noise not allowing for large conversations. Without ever reaching the stratospheric limit of "divine", the small restaurant served dishes of good, honest and unpretentious Portuguese food. The only negative note for the creamed milk, floured and with few eggs, which could have been something from a packet. A shame, because the burnt sugar topping was delicious.“

“Very good restaurant! The fish is fresh and you can see it when you go to choose your fish inside. The servers are very pleasant and helpful. In terms of quality and price, we got plenty of value for our money! I highly recommend!

“We went to Santelmo on a Sunday just before 6:30 p.m. and we didn't have a reservation but they were still able to take us. Would definitely recommend making a reservation though because it seating was full between 7-8 pm and you don't want to miss eating here!
Food and drinks were delicious and a treat for the eyes as well. We had drinks, appies, one main each and my husband had a digestif. The mains are generously portioned (3 pork cheek medallions with sweet potato in one dish and half an octopus plus the head in the other), so we could have got away with splitting one to save some room for dessert.
The atmosphere was great, the restaurant has a cool modern vibe and the staff were very friendly, attentive and happy to explain anything or make suggestions.
We had 3 drinks, water, 2 appies and 2 mains for 80 Euros including tax and tip.“

“I went alone. I was hungry and it was a public holiday during august, so lots of places were closed due to holidays or the public holiday. I ordered the "vazia steak", and it was cooked as requested (medium rare). The meat was of good quality and the sauce was salty and buttery, but still acceptable. The draught beer was cold and full of bubbles ? between arriving, eating the steak and pay it took 20 minutes, so the service is pretty fast!“

“A very good and very pleasant experience. We had the Seafood rodicio and everything was very good, they warned us that there were no barnacles because it was not the season and something to keep in mind, the oysters do not allow repeats, but they told us everything when ordering and that is a very good thing. and that is appreciated. The staff was attentive at all times to give us those things that we would like to repeat. A very good place to eat seafood, I will definitely recommend it.
Parking: You have several private parking spaces around the site. We walked so I don't know the prices.
Kid-friendliness: Nearby there was a table with two children, one about 3 or 4 years old and another 1 or 2 years old in a stroller and everything was very well arranged since the oldest had a high chair and the little one's stroller was very well arranged so that it would not be in the way. to nobody.
Wheelchair accessibility: Being in a square and everything being at the same height, there is no problem for access for any wheelchair.“

“A prime location but difficult to park.
We ordered house steaks and it was delicious, nothing to write home about.
The place is beautiful and elegant.
The employees are professionals, perhaps the only thing I want to point out is that I wanted to be talking to the person in front of me and the employee kept “talking” a little beyond what was comfortable, I had to ask him to “go away” which added to the feeling of the night.
Shortly afterwards, at the next table, there was a family and the same waiter creating the same discomfort towards them, so they were also asked to let them eat/be “in peace”.
I would also like to add that the employee smelled a lot of tobacco, which made it difficult for us to have him by our side.
Despite this occurrence, the dinner experience was wonderful. A place to visit.“

“An absolute gem for tinned seafood lovers. The excellent selection of seafood, paired with ice-cold beer, is perfect on a hot June day. While my personal favorite was the Portuguese-style stuffed squid, the variety guarantees you'll find something to your liking. Plus, the tinned seafood makes a perfect souvenir from Portugal.“

“Incredible food, as you would expect from a small tavern in Alvalade. Rice with gizzards and impeccable prawns and great snails. As was also to be expected, rather bad service: slow, unfriendly and inefficientTypical tavern atmosphere, with the advantage of having a small terraceThey don't take reservations, so get there early. At 21:10 they were already warning new customers who wanted to sit down that the kitchen had closed.“

“It had good reviews and I was not disappointed. It is in the center, the place is one of the best I have been to considering that it is a restaurant with good prices. The service was very good, attentive and they did their part to make us understand, I don't speak Portuguese. The food was all very good, the only thing I ordered was seafood rice and it had a lot of flavor of some aromatic herb, but it happened to me somewhere else, I guess it's a Lisbon custom. Good price, highly recommended“

“Not bad, an average restaurant, nothing special to make it stand out. The food is no different from the same typical establishments in Lisbon. For some reason the waiter mixed up the orders and everything fell out of his hands. Food without any special frills or frills.“

“We wanted to go to the famous restaurant next door but as there was a queue the staff advised us to go to this new place from the same group and with the same chef. We were pleasantly surprised because everything was really delicious! The waiter at our table did not serve us well, first offering us wines and bitters and then saying he didn't have them so we could buy something else at a higher price. When I pointed this out to the room manager he immediately offered us the bitters we had requested and which according to the boy were not available, going to get them directly from the wine shop next door (always from the same group). We liked the Muscatel so much that we bought a bottle and drank some glasses of Port too. We definitely were unlucky with the table boy because the rest of the staff were magnificent!“

“We went for dinner one day and the next day we repeated. The waitresses were very nice, specifically Saaya, who served us both days and was very attentive and friendly. “A wonderful experience for the palate as well as a great deal. Something to keep in mind and that as Spaniards we are not used to, without prior notice, once you sit down at the table, the olives, the tub of butter, the tub of cheese spread, the tub of fish pâté and the four slices of bread You neither ask for them nor do you have the option of not having them on the table, they charge you quite expensive for what it is...“

“We went there for dinner and it was honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been too.
Nice vibes, small but spacious and wonderful staff.
The food was INCREDIBLE! We had the Tuna Tataki, Tuna Tartar, Ceviche, Shrimp Tacos as starters, the Miso Octopus and Scallop Linguine as mains and the amazing Caramel Lava Cake for dessert. Every single dish was perfectly seasoned and tasted awesome.
I would give a thousand stars if Google let me, and I'll definitely come back! ?“
