Attentive and kind/friendly staff, the lady who served us explained all the dishes available that day. Everyone loved the dishes we ordered. Nice selection of drinks and the craft beer was delicious. Would definitely come back

Nice vegan place in the heart of Loule! We had the rice with mushrooms in the banana leaf as appetizer and the burger and the pad Thai as mains! They were all pretty good, but nothing special - the burger is the Spanish heura one and the pad Thai was not overly sweet, which is great, but could've used more veggies and spices! The prices also felt quite expensive - 14€ for a simple burger and fries. The appetizer was the most creative, I'd say, I greatly enjoyed the spices and veggies in the rice - wish I could've had that as a main with more shiitake! I only saw one waitress but she was trying her best to serve everyone as quickly as possible which we appreciated! I recommend this place for a nice vegan bite after exploring this beautiful city!

We have been there today and had a great lunch time. Freshly pressed juices and very nutritious meals add to the feeling of an healthy and delicious experience. - try the "Portuguese One" on the card, it's great. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-18

It's nice to find a vegan restaurant at Loulé, but there's room for improvement. We had a starter (which was really good), two mains and a dessert. We felt that these last three could be better. It's also overpriced. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-18

Interesting and well thought plant based (vegan) menu. Great flavours and textures. Cosy atmosphere. Pavla and Nuno are very welcoming and friendly. They really go out of their way to make a pleasant experience and are very enthusiastic about all things plant based and healthy. They open for lunch and now Fridays and Saturdays also for dinner. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend Cajual.

My wife last year had been for lunch here but I’d not had an opportunity to visit until now. It wasn’t busy and we chose to sit outside. There were some very tempting choices on the menu, for starter I chose the sourdough with cashew cream cheese, vegan salmon and dill mayo. My wife took the beetroot tartare. We didn’t have to wait too long before they were served. Both looked delicious and beautifully presented. Neither disappointed, a good portion and soooo tasty ?. We’d not hesitate to order those again. For our mains, I chose the Portuguese, soya chunks marinated with pickle veg and such crispy fried potatoes. The soya had a ‘meaty’ texture with a deep flavour and the potatoes were like they had been triple cooked. Crispy on outside, fluffy on the inside. Again excellent portion size. My wife had the Italian choice which didn’t photograph very well but was very mushroomy and creamy. Both of us struggled to finish but we were able to manage a house dessert between us. Forgot to take picture as we were too keen to eat it. It was a veganised doce da Casa, biscuit, custard and cream dessert. Very light and disappeared quickly. The service was excellent and the toilets were clean. Overall we had an excellent meal with a few drinks and we’ll definitely be back as I want to try the pad thai. I’m just disappointed I left it so long. Well done ?? ?

Vegan restaurant with plenty of options. The mains were country themed and when in Portugal you take 'the Portuguese'. Delicious!

Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan options!

Stumbled upon this wee place on a day trip to Loule. So glad I did as I've struggled to get good vegan options in the resort we are staying. Both myself and my mother in law had the Americano Burger it's absolutely handdown the best vegan burger I've ever had. Mother in law isn't veggie but loved her buger, stated it was super tasty. I'm sad I won't be able to try anything else off the menu as everything looked and sounded delicious! Best mea l I've had during my holiday!

Great place to have a drink or a vegan meal ? We just stopped for a drink but the food looked delicious. There are plenty of local & artisanal options for drinks and ice creams.

A great vegan spot with views of a little park.

Casual Vegan Foodsters is awesome! I was there yesterday with some friends for a cooking class and lunch. All the food prepared was wonderful - interesting, flavorful and very fresh. If I lived in the area I’d probably eat there once a week. The owners are delightful and obviously strive to create a good food experience. Highly recommend!

We arrived there at 12PM and they told us, very rudely, that there was a big group coming soon and we could only order some of the dishes, the cold ones because they didn't have time. The chef/server was very rude and nervous and I would not go back.

We enjoyed our food here, but it was unfortunately almost 60 minutes on the dot between ordering and receiving our food. So we scoffed it down, as we were so hungry. Some got the Portuguese which had lovely vegan meat and potatoe cubes. One got the Asian, which was cold (i think that's intentional, but just an fyi) So good food, but don't come hungry!
