Sangria very reasonably priced (€5 for half a liter). Only a walk away from Loulé Jardim Hotel.

This place was situated directly opposite the hotel we're booked into for a week, so it was the obvious place to try. I ordered some tapas... Spicy Pork, Patatas bravas and Sangria for 19 Euro. The food was okay and a comparable price with other local tapas bars... but the Sangria was VERY light on alcohol (if it had ANY alcohol in it)... I'd have expected it to have a good measure of brandy or rum and dry red wine (Tempranillo, Garnacha or some other Rioja) but this just tasted of iced fruit juice... perhaps it was supposed to be alcohol free?? If it was, it was very expensive fruit juice!Oddest thing however was when the Sangria arrived and I asked for some nuts (all other tables were given a saucer of nuts when they arrived) but for some reason I was told I had to go to a vending machine and buy myself a pack if I wanted nuts... Perhaps it was because I'm a tourist? It definitely doesn't encourage you to go back!UPDATE: After getting the reply below from the owners, saying that there were 2 different types of Sangria on their Menu, I went back, took a photo of the Menu and uploaded it... Have a look and decide for yourself if they're telling the truth?!

On arrival was approached by a man (the owner/manager?) and I asked for a menu. He looked irritated, gestured at a couple of tables near me indicating that i could have found my own menu, grabbed a menu from another table, dumped it on my table and left. I didn't see him again and should have left then because the food arrived way too quickly to be freshly prepared (within 10 minutes) and was only OK. Won't go again

Ok food but charges money for a small extra mayo and ketchup feels a bit rude specially since they don't informe about it. Just adds 20 cents to the bill feels misleading..also collects the dish right after you basically take your last bite feels stressad ..they don't even ask if the food tasted good, it basically feels like they want you out of there as soon as possible.

Nice place but horrible tapas, prepared in advance and without any taste. The price is also very expensive considering the portion served.Too bad because the waitress is quite nice.

Nice lunch here. Small selection of sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs plus a good selection of tapas. Prices very good. Plenty of seats when we visited on a Saturday afternoon - air conditioned (and football!) inside - parasols outside. Staff very friendly.
