Very good kitchen in Loule! We had the duck magret and ravioli with ricotta and sun dried tomato.
Nice mediterranean food - not only italian. It is a slightly more expensive than average restaurants but definitely worth it.
Wonderful restaurant, great food, nice atmosphere. The duck was fabulous.
Absolutely amazing food. Everything homemade and cooked to perfection with imagination and great care. Don't miss it

Olivola is a hidden gem, easily overlooked due to its overgrown exterior. However, once inside, the restaurant offers a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The food is phenomenal, with a focus on original flavors and high-quality dishes. It combines Italian, South American, and Portuguese cuisine, providing a nice variety of Mediterranean food. The menu changes weekly and offers excellent value, with two-course options and a range of choices. Dishes like duck magret, ravioli with ricotta and sun-dried tomato, and spaghetti a la putanesca are well-prepared and full of flavor. The wine list is manageable and features excellent and more expensive options. The restaurant is run by a married couple, with the chef being Italian and the service run by a Belgian. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive, contributing to a memorable dining experience. With a lovely outdoor area and wheelchair accessibility, Olivola is a great spot for a meal, whether for lunch or a special occasion.
