“The poncha (regional, passion fruit or fisherman's) is excellent, highlighting the fact that it is made fresh and accompanied by delicious "dentinhos" (chicken wings, pork legs, among others). Attentive and friendly service! Totally recommendable!”

“Top ! The unmissable Machico ice cream parlor very close to the central square and on the way to the beach or after a hike. Service with a smile. The flavors are delicious and the balls are huge! Even though we were good eaters, we had trouble getting through the second one. Special mention for the chocolate. Good value for money. A shaded terrace allows you to enjoy while seated.”
“Loved the passion fruit cake ? amazing highly recommend! Very good tuna steak and simple tuna sandwich (local bread with garlic and tuna) and apple tarte! Great place lovely staff! Great coffee also.”

“A tavern that is a good secret in Lisbon. Don't expect refinement or great variety, but rather a traditional and traditional atmosphere. Daily menus from €11”

“We had dinner on the terrace (the food gets cold quickly). We ordered a bolo do caco (typical Po an with garlic and parsley) and for mains a secret with very good flavor, and also an espetada de limbo (not the best I've ever had, but it was good). They do not come with garnish or potatoes. The staff is nice and it is next to the beach. We came out to about €35 in total.”

“Nice place to eat quickly at lunchtime. Three different pizza sizes. We had a “Medium” pizza with my wife and the quantity was more than enough.
You shouldn't expect a pizza worthy of Italy but it holds up.
Nice atmosphere without finding the service of a real restaurant either. It's worth stopping here if you're really hungry and want pizza.”
“Mandatory stop!!! Very tasty punch. The most friendly and welcoming service we could ask for, skipjack snack (dried fish "cousin" of Tuna) really good!”

The gentlemen that service was great with good sense of humour and attention to our needs.”
“A genuinely incredible dining experience.
Chef Robert has done something very special here. The combination of ingenuity of recipes, local produce and flawless presentation lived up to the expectations and beyond.
The service was also exquisite.
A must see if you're a culinary fan and in Madeira!”

“X5 vegetarian options. Great food. Nice staff. Great value”
“We had a nice evening but was slightly under par for what is expected. It's hard not to compare with Il Gallo d'oro, which is close by and performs on a clearly higher level and casts a long shadow.”

“Poncha one of the best we tried in Madeira! All flavors are delicious, except English tomato (I do not recommend this one). It's a small place on the corner, crowded, so it's hard to get a table in the evening, but you can take a drink in a paper cup to go. Affordable prices, great taste!”

“Excellent food, friendly service (4 stars as they were short handed, so a bit slow) fun atmosphere- close to where we were staying, but off the beaten path….so had to look for it, which was fun. Appeared to be popular with both locals & tourists. mojitos were soo good. We both had the pulled pork - will try the chicken next time! Highly recommend”

“It is a place to drink craft beers, which has little more than three dishes (quesadillas, tacos and burritos) if you want to have dinner, but they are amazing and are more than enough (without accompaniments that in the end you always end up leaving, such as potatoes or salad).
Very quiet atmosphere at 8pm, although I suppose it goes on for days. It is a sports bar type place, so it is not for families with children, we did go with two teenagers.
I will repeat for sure before I leave.
Wheelchair accessibility: It communicates with two streets, the lower one suitable for wheelchair access, the dining room is on that level.”

“Half of the options on the vegetarian a la carte menu can be made vegan. None of the desserts can be made vegan however they kindly whipped us up a chocolate mousse with red fruits, it was delicious. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Food is on the pricey side and has an upmarket feel. Beautiful view out to sea.”

“Small but nice café. Perfect for a little snack in between. Very nice staff and very tasty food for a fair price. We tried the hot dog and the sandwiches, among other things. Both were very tasty.”
