Halfway through the coffee, a lady came out of nowhere, like a flash, asking who of the three had booked because they needed the table in 20 minutes (20!). We were just finishing and that's why we didn't like it. I couldn't resist and responded with the same level of delicacy. When we went to the checkout counter, I noticed comments and looks. It was a shame because we were really enjoying the atmosphere until then.

With the exception of the last 4 minutes, the experience was very good and the two young people who served us were super friendly.“

“A house with careful and innovative preparation and a chef who is always available and concerned about his customers.I distinctly remember, the first time I went to have lunch at Oak, thinking that this space was unusual in the city of Paredes, and it almost seemed like it had come out of Porto. “This restaurant has a great view and wasn’t overcrowded.We order a meat plate and would not recommend (Really dry steak with no flavor) but all the fish we ordered was great.The staff was nice to us and had a good humor.I would recommend this place but is up to you:This place is lacking hygiene routines, our table wasn’t cleaned with alcohol, we had full ashtrays next to us for 30 min, no masks, a unclean place overall.“

“Een echte aanrader. Erg lekker gegeten. Het is een klein buffet maar zeker de moeite waard. Buffet kost 10 euro p.p. frisdrank 2 euro en een erg lekkere toetjes voor 4 euro.
Vriendelijke bediening die hun best doen om Engels te begrijpen.
Wees op tijd of reserveren want ze zijn snel vol. Gaat om 19 uur open en er was nog maar 1 tafel beschikbaar. De rest was gereserveerd. Het is zo populaire dat mensen boven bij de bar gingen zitten om te eten.“

“We had the buffet and it was great for us as vegans as well as those in our group who were not. The service was great even with a very busy lunch time!!

“A few vegan options. Everything is organic. We went twice to have dinner there during our stay in Madalena, Pico. I went for their chili dish on the first night and it was very good. On the second night, i tried their salad. The salad as you can see in the photo is different vegetables, tofu and noodles placed together with peanut butter sauce in the middle. The salad was a bit boring. I preferred the chili dish way more. Updated from previous review on 2024-08-13“

“My girlfriend ordered the steak (medium), which was still very raw at one point. I wanted the mixed salad with tuna, but I think I got the starter tuna salad. You could have asked about this, as it was a bit small, despite the additional French fries.
The service was very unfriendly.“

“Muito agradável para se fazer uma refeição sem tempo, comida muito boa. Experimentei arroz de tamboril, picanha, bacalhau á Temos Pena e posta. Qualquer destes pratos são muito bons, a atmosfera é muito agradável, muito cómodo, funcionários muito profissionais e prestáveis . Ótimo para crianças, O valor pago foi simpático a condizer com o serviço prestado.“

“Very delicious food and very friendly service. The only downside is that they take a long time to serve, but then they bring it all together, and in my opinion it is worth the wait. “Same as the other comment, 1st day little feeling since the older waitress was quite unfriendly, then we went down to the terrace to have a few drinks and they wanted to kick us out because according to them it would only be for dinners (nowhere did it say that), not to argue We were going to leave but he told us no, that he would give us the drinks…
Yesterday we went straight to dinner and it was very good, not delicious but very good. The terrace is wonderful, yes, good views, atmosphere, music. For dinner at sunset it is the best thing we have found on the island.“

“Definitively a nice place to visit when in Pico. The view is fantastic, you can see the beauty of the ocean while enjoying a drink. The service is pretty good, though it can get slow . Our waitress was polite but seemed not interested. Food is good, but not great.“
