“I recently dined at Ponte Grande Restaurant and my experience was exceptional. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a very friendly waitress, and all the staff were equally welcoming. I opted for the Butter Chicken, and I have to say it was the best I have ever tasted. The sauce and rice were perfectly seasoned, and the dish arrived piping hot on a typically Indian plate, adding to the authentic ambiance. I loved every bite and I'm sure I will return to this restaurant with my eyes closed. An unforgettable culinary experience!“

The restaurant has 2 sides, one cooler than the other and they'll ask which one you prefer. There's also outside seating as well.“

“My wife and I came here yesterday for a curry and it was fantastic. We had been here before 4 years ago and it was great and this time it was just as good. Last year we went to a different curry house in Tavira and it was very disappointing but Dawat was brilliant. Very tasty curries, generous portions and great service. We will probably return again tonight! Highly recommended.“

“Indian Hut has a lunch menu at lower prices, but with smaller portion sizes. Each curry is offered as mild, medium, madras or vindaloo strength.

Visited twice during my trip for lunch. First time had the lamb rogan josh and second time chicken curry (madras strength). €7.25 and €6.50, all served with rice, naan bread and salad.

Food was very tasty, but could've done with a bigger portion of curry, even if they add an extra euro onto the price.

Waiter was very friendly.

“We had a delicious tasting menu coomprising 10 separate courses. They were all described by George so we knew what we were eating. All the dishes were superb, but particular mention must be made for the Lamb Madras and the Fish Bhuna. I will definitely be ordering these ttwo dishes again very soon.“
