Caldas de Monchique is popular with tourists and spa guests. Service is adequate. Revisiting Caldas de Monchique (first visit 1980) we were tempted for a coffee. No terrace service. You get your drink at the bar and enjoy your coffee at the simple terrace. We went for cappuccino and espresso. Both were very good“

“Typical rural and farmer's restaurant where we really enjoyed the local cuisine. The restaurant would serve as a base for the workers in the region. It is an 8' drive outside the town of Silves. We arrived at 2:00 PM and could only choose from one dish ? The BBQ is next to the terrace and smells delicious. Very democratic prices and generous local wines. With a bit of luck you can communicate with the boy in English! An absolute must!“
