“Great spot to relax and get a caffeine recharge. Coffee was the best we found in the area and the atmosphere was very cool. Obviously a stop on the local bike circuit and it was neat to be there during one of the events. Highly recommend the açaí bowels and coffee. I had a flat white and it was nicely done.“
“Delicious traditional food. My wife had the bacalhau de nata (cod in potatoes and cream) and I had the pork Alentejana (pork bites with veg and clams). Both were delicious. The pork had pickled veg and a dusting of cilantro. House red wine (1/2 litre), bread, olives, two coffees. About 22 Euro. These plates were the daily specials. Side salad came pre-oiled and vinegared, so if that's not your thing then let them know. Owners speak English. Jazz in the background. Cozy decor. Kind staff. Will definitely return when we're in the area.“
“Separate veg menu with a good range of dishes, soya milk available. Portuguese tofu was nice in a tangy sauce served with rice, salad and grilled veg. Good serving size. Relaxed atmosphere sat outside. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-27“

“Excellent Portuguese family restaurant. All in simplicity. The boss comes to show us his choice of fresh fish. We're going to choose our desserts from the fridge. Like at home ! Too friendly. and everything is excellent. It feels like our grandparents' house, right down to the chocolate mousse, the real one! Lovely welcome. Bright and friendly waitress yet she only speaks Portuguese and we don't have a word! The exchange was so funny! Thanks everyone!
An address to keep. :)“

“I came upon Lendas e Mitos on my visit to Silves. The food was excellent. I got a sandwich, soup, desert and coffee all under 10 euros. The lady who work at the restaurant was friendly and able to communicate with me in English. I sat outside since it was a nice day. The area was clean and quiet.“

“A small cafe within the walls of the Silves Castle. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and offered a wide range of food and drink items. We enjoyed their Rose Sangria, which was herbal and refreshing.
Service was a little slow, even though it wasn’t very busy, and even by Portuguese standards. It was good service, just slow, so be prepared to wait a little.
One thing I did not try, but was recommended to me by locals afterwards, was the orange cake, a staple in Silves.“

“Excellent food. A large birthday party was taking place and the atmosphere was terrific, typical Portuguese. Will be back in September with a group of golfing friends. Got to share this superb bar with others. And the wine? Excellent selection and guidance.“

“A very good restaurant with a pleasant setting in the center of Monchique.
The staff is very kind and welcoming, and accompanied us throughout our meal.
The dishes are delicious, and highlight local products from the region.
I recommend it to you !
And thank you to the whole team for this great time ?“
