“Overall a pretty good and unique dining experience with great dishes. A few things however took away from quality of the whole thing. As we entered the restaurant we were not greeted by any hostess at first and when we did they kept asking us which restaurant we are going to (as if people arrive to this secluded restaurant by accident?). Very messy and disorganized beginning but okay. We were also not offered any welcome drink while waiting for the experience to start and had to wait in a very cheap looking waiting area. Next, the restaurant is located inside a big resort which kind of makes the location feel cheap (on the way to the bathroom you pass through a hotel/souvenir shop). Towards the end of the dinner we requested to move to a nicer table that was located closer to the window. The waiter (which was overall very nice) said that they usually don’t do that but he could make an “exception”. We found his comment to be pointless and strange because why would such a simple request which is very common all over the world need to be an “exception”? To conclude, This place has potential but could definitely improve on the service front.”

Even though the mussels were small inside, they were very delicious. Small shrimps with garlic were delicious. Baby potatoes and boiled vegetables along with fish were the color of the meal. “Great Italian restaurant in Sintra. We came here for a late lunch after touring the castles. We were able to sit outside since the weather was so warm. It's located in a charming area, the perfect spot for a glass of wine or a beer. We tried the pizza, a pasta dish and a salad.
