A magnificent place, they brought us a little of everything and everything was delicious and of very good quality as well as impeccable service
A pleasant surprise to find this place, very good service and food, the most delicious, the eggs with farinheirha and the cod, their specialty, highly recommended! We will repeat without a doubt.

Searching on Google maps for a restaurant near the highway, we were very lucky to find this place. 100% homemade food and although the language was a barrier, we ate 10. Scrambled food, tomato, roast chicken and cod. It is worth going a few kilometers and stopping by to eat there.

Typical village restaurant, food, traditional and grilled, very well prepared and in appropriate portions. Variety of starters and desserts. Warm and friendly service, without excesses or flaws. Adequate price.

Yesterday 04/28/24 I went with two friends. I admit that I arrived at 3:16 p.m. Portuguese time. And I know it's a little late for Portugal's usual lunch time. Although it is a Sunday when people are more relaxed for lunch because they don't have to go back to work. We asked if we could have lunch. The room was full except for one table and the terrace was empty. We didn't even want to sit on the terrace to ask if we could have lunch because I admit it was late for them. We were told No. The blonde woman I asked if we could have lunch. He turned to a man who was sitting at one of the tables and said No very seriously and made a bad face. The woman seemed kind and willing. But he seems to have been bothered that we arrived at that time. I recognize that they may say the kitchen is closed, but they didn't offer anything cold like a sandwich or something they had prepared, and it wasn't clearing up either because the bar/restaurant had many diners at the tables. I hope it is a misunderstanding due to the language. Greetings to the blonde woman who seemed intent and willing to help us and I am dissatisfied with the manager/owner who was so unwelcoming.

It's not a luxury restaurant, but the food is homemade, I draw attention to the red chicken, it has a much better flavor than what we get with the free-range chickens we buy at the butchers. Everyone was friendly and attentive; The prices are more affordable and the portions are well served. Despite being a small restaurant, the tables are larger than usual, and it makes it more comfortable as we have space for everything. There are two house wines, the best, the reserve, is not expensive, however, it is very good as long as you let it breathe before drinking it.With several starters, soup, main course and dessert, I can spend less than €30 per person.

Divine. On a day when the restaurant was super busy, we called 15m before arriving and after hours, they were very kind and found a space for us. A little tight, but it was a favor they did us. Upon arrival, the friendliness, the natural and familiar way they treated us, as if we were part of their home. It looks like he was a customer there 10 years ago. The food was great, the wine was good and so was the dessert. In addition, I tried a wonderful tomato soup that I had never had before and that I was looking forward to. In the end, no unpleasant surprises with the bill.Top top! To be repeated when passing by.
