Everything 5 stars, including the host and staff.It's an explosion of flavors. Dish by dish, you discover the supreme quality of each tasting. I have no words to describe the feeling of the last bite, spoonful. Try it, you won't regret it. The quality is much, much higher than the price.
This was the best restaurant experience that we had in Portugal. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated like royalty. Everything was gorgeously presented and was delectable. The salad was sensational, soup like I have never tasted, sides to write home about and the main course indescribably delicious. We were sharing each dish and Jorge, our server, split each dish for us. A new bottle of “house wine” was opened fresh for us and knocked us over. The owner came...
We were on our way to Alter do Chão and discovered this gem, the staff were very informative/friendly and the food was divine. They have an award winning appetizer. It is expensive though but worth it.
