Good food for normal prices. You have to be patient because everything is freshly prepared. I don't like it when the start is forced on you. But here the cheese, bread and olives were delicious.

Excellent local food, fresh fish, excellent green wine, honest prices...

The food was way below average for the price, the octopus that so many people talk about in the comments looked like chewing gum, the atmosphere had no "mood", a little music might help, the only thing that got away with it was the friendly lady who served us.

Here we are, 6 bikers on our 3 machines looking to refresh our stomachs after a long journey without finding anything to eat.At the bend of a small village he is there in the corner with his yellow and red chairs winking at us to set foot. What false joy, average dishes rather in keeping with certain DRY landscapes.Friendly service but certainly to hide a lack of quality both in the dishes and in the bill. They took us for the tourists that we are but above all for wallets.

The fish soup was watery and consisted mostly of noodles and bones. The sea bream afterwards was on the grill for too long and arrived dry. The bones could hardly be removed from the edible part. The broccoli as a side dish was tasteless and mushy in consistency, and the salad was not dressed. €17.50 (just for the fish and side dishes) was much too expensive.

Monday night, relax and cozy place to eat authentic portugese food. We had the choco frito (fresh, fried calamari)and loved it! Tuna steak was super fresh, delicious garnish and well seasoned. The deserts are all homemade and the caramel egg and creme cake was delicious. We recommand 100%. From french canadians tourist.

I put one star because I can't put zero. At first they didn't even attend us to sit down (first bad sign that we didn't know how to take advantage of), it took them half an hour to take our order and then an hour and a half by the clock to serve us. When we asked the owner what was going on, he told us that it took time because the fish we ordered had to be done well band and band, 3 minutes per band (equivalent as we all know to an hour and a half). All the fish we were served was fit to make shoes. During our short stay in the restaurant we could see how people who speak Portuguese are treated with priority, arriving later than us, eating and leaving earlier. The price, for 4 people, was not at all close to the quality of the food. The only good thing was the beer, cold and it arrived more or less on time.

Horrible treatment. It seems that if you don't speak Portuguese they leave you for last. More than an hour and a half to eat and we had ordered soups of the day and things to do on the griddle. When we claimed the food, the owner treated me like I was a fool. Seems like a grilled horse mackerel needs 45 mins to get right. When he brought it back it was hard and dry. The pork fillet was worse and the grilled tuna was tougher. The soups arrived within 45 minutes of ordering and were cold. I WILL NEVER COME BACK.

Bad customer service. Site not recommended. We approached to ask if there was a table and the waitress didn't even look at our faces, even so we decided to stay and from then on everything got worse. Little staff, super slow service, zero empathy from the owner and the quality of the food fair. We ordered soup first, which took 40 minutes to bring to us and they weren't even hot. When we had already gone 1 hour and 30 minutes and the rest of the food still had not appeared, we told the owner who did nothing more than give us a lot of excuses without any sense.

Don't go, it's terrible. Any good review must be from the owner's friends. It took us almost 2 hours to be served some very, very average food on a night that wasn't busy. This place is the dictionary definition of a "Tourist Trap". Not enough cooks, not enough waiters, impossibly long wait times, and worst of all the owner is arrogant, condescending, and devoid of empathy towards his clients, insofar that tourists seem like a joke to him. It's easy to see this place is a cash cow and he doesn't care for tourists, and I say this because every Portuguese speaking table was served before us, even those who arrived way after we did. Favouritism plain and simple.I would never go back under the current management. Our worst dining experience in Portugal.

We always come back for the fantastic sea bass rice! There is no other like it!Don't go in a hurry, because everything is done on time and takes your time, but the end result is more than rewarding!

It wasn't surprising at all. The service left a lot to be desired. Perhaps he was unlucky with the day. The gentleman who served us (supposedly the owner) seemed to be making stupid statements every time he spoke to me! Place not to repeat.
