“We didn't know this restaurant, we went on recommendation, what a pleasant surprise! Without any expectations, we were surprised with excellent service. We opted for the tasting menu, which consists of seven dishes, all of them very elaborate and with well-defined flavors, the sashimi is very fresh and with a divine flavor. To drink, we opted for a passion fruit sangria, which did justice to the food! We finished with homemade mochi, on another level. I recommend it and will definitely be back!“

“Good sushi at a good price. It's not top-notch sushi but it delivers well. The All You Can Eat menu has some variety and more options to add. The sangrias are also good. If the weather is good, the terrace is very pleasant, despite having Av. Marginal right next door.
I recommend the cheesecake for anyone who wants dessert.“

“Our first stop on recommendation. A hit! Great atmosphere, wonderful, friendly service and a real feast for the palate. Waffles with cinnamon and caramel could use some fruit to break the sweet taste, but the pancake is a revelation without compromise and in tandem with a smoothie it is an unforgettable visual and taste experience! we will definitely visit this place again. I highly recommend...“

“Calm and welcoming place, good ambient music. Very friendly service. Menu with several options, well-prepared sushi, we really liked it. We chose 2 tasting menus, the traditional and the fusion, both excellent and with varied flavors, several fish present in the sushi pieces, which unfortunately is not the case in all other sushi. The starters are also very good.
A place to visit again.“

“Vegetarian friendly. Nice to see some alternative options. Really enjoyed the malai kofta and palak paneer though all dishes could have been a bit spicier. Starters were quite small but actually for once didn’t feel over full after a curry! Great vegetarian options though not that well marked and I’m not sure a vegan would have left full.“

“I was throughly impressed with the careful preparation and attention to detail of the vegan food. Any vegans wishing to dine here should give the restaurant advance notice (we let them know several days ahead) as this is not typical of kaiseki cuisine in Japan. The food was delicious with delicate flavours and exquisite presentation. The chefs took time to explain the flavours and composition. I couldn’t have left happier as did my fellow non vegan diners. A perfect night.“

“Very knowledgeable staff that gave you confidence in what you were eating. Well run and quick service despite being very busy. We sat outside which was a bit cramped, inside there is a bit more space. We shared Tarka Dahl, mushroom rice and roti and it was delicious and full of flavour.“

“The noodles & bowls are very tasty, prepared on the fly with fresh ingredients in a clean, open kitchen. The waitress is very friendly. While waiting for the food, our table was shat over by a bird which precision-spray-bombed us through the narrow gap in between the large ombrellas. The waitress immediately offered us a new table, and replaced all of our drinks with new ones! Super clean toilets also - always a good indicator! The kids loved their refreshing 'Mochi' desserts. Reasonable prices, would revisit!
Vegetarian options: Present!
Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed!
Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance is wheelchair accessible, restrooms not.“

“As others have said, all the vegetarian dishes can easily be vegan and many already are. Several options available. Veggie goyozas were very tasty as was my red curry. They even have several vegan (and interesting!) deserts! Friendly and very helpful service from staff who understand veganism. I recommend!“

“I've been there a few times, if you go close to closing time sometimes the bobas are a little dry, also (I don't know if it's because they stir it with a lot of euphoria XD) a little gas is generated in the fruit tea ones, Likewise, Muji's Mochis are served too frozen, since I have tried the original ones in Barcelona and they are not like that, they are soft.
Apart from these small details, they are a love of people and everything is delicious and at a good price.
Vegetarian options: There are vegan and vegetarian options
Kid-friendliness: Yeah
Wheelchair accessibility: None, there is a step and the bathrooms are very narrow.“

“Very good food, lovely view of the sea, and an adorable robot! My partner said the salmon temaki was the best they’ve ever had (a big compliment as they order that at just about every Japanese restaurant). Veggie gyoza were very tasty, and all our food came out very quickly.“

“We had the tasting menu and we were won over from start to finish! Having been and eaten sushi in Japan, these have nothing to be ashamed of! Run by friendly Brazilians, the atmosphere is cozy! The fish is super tender, enough to make you salivate! Excellent experience, I recommend!“

“I have a lot of experience in Thai food and I can confirm that this is possibly the best Thai restaurant in Lisbon. Creative and very well prepared dishes. Excellent service and great friendliness from the owners who are usually always present.“

“The whole experience is good (except the price, but I think it's the price of quality).
Everything is good.
Seeing Chef Mário’s continued success is a joy. I've been a client of his since the beginning of his career and he's only gotten better.
The best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to... I'm just sorry I can't go there once a week“

“Fair Japanese food in an area where there isn't much choice.
The room is very well done in terms of decoration.
The service is not the best, especially when the room gets a little more crowded.
Either way, it's a worthwhile restaurant.“

“The food is always coming out, it's very fresh, this is because the food table is small and that, in my opinion, is very good. Quite a variety of Chinese food and the like, sushi isn't the strong point, but I think they only have it because of the variety. The service is very friendly, but very quick, we ended up eating and leaving straight away.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options, as it is a Chinese restaurant, there are dishes prepared and prepared with lots of vegetables.
Dietary restrictions: Due to the variety presented, there are dishes for all tastes and restrictions.
Parking: They have space for around a dozen cars around the restaurant, other than that, there's only Lidl parking in front.
Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs for children and the food is accessible for the youngest. They don't have baby food, like soups, for example.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is an accessible restaurant for wheelchair users, but not a buffet, as they cannot walk around the food table.“

“Very good first experience!
Let's start with the food, we ordered an assortment of starters, wonderful, an explosion of flavors! Highlight the “cuttlefish croquettes”! For mains we ordered the tiger prawn and the boneless chicken. Tiger Shrimp is one of the best we've ever tasted, but the chicken, due to our fault, ended up drying out a little on the table because the portions are very generous and it dried up because we were finishing the shrimp, but I still want to point out that the flavor was also very good, different from the traditional.
Excellent service, from the moment we entered until we left and I invite everyone to try it because the decoration and location of the space will speak for itself!
Special thanks to Jawad and Cristiano who were the icing on the cake when it came to our experience
Thank you SEN!“

“Loved the food, vibe and service.
We had fried robalo à la "lui suan", and it was one of the best. Fresh fish, good taste. Also the "goong chae nam pla" (shrimp sashimi with thai seafood sauce) tasted authentic just what I missed. “

“One of best spots in Lisbon downtown to have a drink. The cocktails are amazing, as well as the decoration and the people who work there really nice! We were received by Pablo who was tireless so we could have the best time there! Keep up the good job!“

“(Translated by Google) Unique experience of sushi, braised, tempayaki etc. Quality dishes, made at the moment, in a pleasant and refined atmosphere. Even so, even though it is one of the restaurants at the Hotel da Penha, and given the evaluation of the meal, I found the price inappropriate: €68 per person, drinks charged separately. A few years ago I was at Midori, they still served this Asian buffet menu and it was top, far superior to Spices.(Original)Experiência única de sushi, braseados, tempayaki etc. Pratos com qualidade, feitos ao momento, numa atmosfera agradável e requintada. Ainda assim, mesmo tratando-se de um dos restaurantes do hotel da Penha, e atendendo à avaliação da refeição, achei o preço desajustado: 68€ por pessoa, bebidas cobradas à parte. Há uns anos estive no Midori, ainda serviam este menu buffet asiático e foi top, bastante superior ao Spices.“

“Great. A small place but it’s been high on my list to visit for a while — and it did not disappoint. The fish is all fresh and of excellent quality, and the sushi made genuine with some nice creations that stay true to its origin (no wild creations with cream cheese, etc). Service is nice and friendly, and the location just a tad from the ocean.“

“For me the Suggestion of... Best Sellers was Good, in taste and quantity, but maybe the price including a Coke, is a bit expensive for what it is, 12,25 (bol+drink), specially for a workday meal. I would like to find something with better prices for workers, or maybe earliers?“
