“This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. It's situated in a small square in Mora and is full of Portuguese atmosphere. The food was exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The wine list was extensive and the wine-waiter was kind enough to spend time discussing and recommending a very pleasing local vinho tinto. I wish I lived in that small square so that I could eat there frequently - it was a real treat.”
“If you want the best pizza ever, this is the place to go to. Service is great and the pizzas are awesome. Ive tried different ones and they are all excellent. The base is nice and thin, and there is more than ample filling and cheese. The place is situated in a very small centre, but since the hours are late afternoon, the area is rather quiet. You can eat there as there are some tables or you can take them home. Ive done both and either/or, they taste perfect. You can call up front or order at the counter. Credit/debit cards are not accepted, however you can pay via mbway without a problem or cash.”
“It is advisable to make a reservation We tried to go to this restaurant without reservation and couldn't get a table that night. The next day we made an appointment and went there for dinner. We ordered bread and olives for starter, (the olives were great) and for the main course, Grilled lamb ribs from Alentejo and Portuguese veal steak. The Lamb Ribs were absolutely PERFECT. For Dessert we ordered Pão Rala. We enjoyed it so much that we went back there a second time for dinner again. This time we only ate appetizers/starters and desserts. Scrambled Eggs à Petisqueira are great! For dessert we ordered a Pajama Doces Alentejanos (a way to try 4 typical sweets) in this case we tried Teculameco (Dessert based on eggs, almonds and icing sugar), Pão Rala (Dessert with gila, almond and egg strands), Enxarcada de Ovos (Eggs, cinnamon and sugar) and Delicia de Castanha ( a Chestnut Delight). All lactose free, to my own delight! All Covid rules are observed and strictly adhered to.”

“Found the place on the way to Spain from Lisbon. Welcomed by friendly English spoken staff and great foods. Even though four hours drive ahead, I couldn't resist the wine. One of the great experiences in Portugal. Obligado!”
