Very surprised by everything in this beautiful space, simply fantastic service, the food was well prepared and delicious, I really liked the oriental mushrooms" for their sweet and sour flavor which I'm a fan of, all the tapas we tried were wonderful, we will definitely try more dishes again❤️❤️

Great discovery! Super good dishes! Warm welcome and very good advice! Our server spoke English and Portuguese, understood French very well. We had 3 dishes and 2 cocktails for 40€.In addition, the restaurant has a few seats on the terrace, in the evening it is really very pleasant

Parking: Free parking before 8 a.m. and after 7 p.m. The restaurant is located on the 2nd (top floor) of the shopping center (like any shopping center restaurant in Portugal) it is possible to have a covered parking space

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator

(Translated by Google) I loved eating at D'Alma restaurant! The owners were super friendly and created a very pleasant atmosphere. The view from the terrace was stunning, especially at sunset. The menu was small but the dishes were homemade and delicious, with decent portions. The service was great, without being too slow or too fast. The value for money was excellent, only €56 for two people without alcoholic drinks. I highly recommend Restaurant D'Alma for a refined and warm dining experience, with stunning views over the town of Penafiel.(Original)J'ai adoré manger au restaurant D'Alma !

(Translated by Google) The hamburgers were excellent. The house green wine was very good too.The only thing I have to point out is the lack of choice on the menu. There was only one dessert option, but it was homemade and with quality.(Original)Os hambúrgueres eram excelentes. O vinho verde da casa era muito bom também.A única coisa que tenho a apontar é a falta de escolha no menu.Tinha só uma opção de sobremesa, mas era caseira e com qualidade.

Quite a hidden gem with a rooftop terrace with great view on the hills (village Dos egregios). It was the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon on a lovely sunny day under a parasol, overlooking the characteristic houses of this small town. Walking on the main shopping street in Penafiel, we went into a tiny shopping mall and noticed there were restaurants on the top floor. “Would they have a rooftop terrace?”, we wondered, and went up with the elevator to find out. There are actually four places, but the D’Alma jumped out to us because of a nice relaxed vibe and contemporary feel. The owners just opened two weeks ago and are a couple. She’s the chef, he takes care of service. They have both worked abroad, which also showed in their approach. Upon his recommendation, we had two “pregos”, warm sandwiches Portuguese style. The prego d’Alma (of the soul) with local cheese, ham and beef (lombo, quality cut), and a Prego Francesinha à Poveira (a local specialty of where the chef is from) with meat, spicy sausage, mustard and typical Portuguese sauce). We also had local vinho verde and a rosé, from a local producer who sells his wine directly to D’Alma. Both were surprisingly full and flavoured, the rosé of a much darker tone and flavour than your average rosé leaving a light tingle on the tongue. The vinho verde was much more robust and round than your average vinho verde. The owner explained vinho verde is Penafiel’s specialty, and even mentioned everybody makes wine here. To top it all off, we had chocolate mousse the chef had just made: one with local orange liquor, one with after eight. Inside they have two lovely tables, and another floor with larger tables and great view on the hills. As they also have tapas, hamburgers and more drinks, we are hoping to swing by again during our stay!

Local, tasty, pure and fresh Portuguese food. After we had their signature warm sandwiches we knew we had the best with these.
