I went in search of some Coimbra-style migas and ended up enjoying the Açorda that accompanied the fried petinga.
One of the best açordas I've eaten in my life.

All the food was extremely fresh and delicious, even the mixed salad.

I was looking for a place that served “Migas à moda de Coimbra”, which is a dish made with bread, black eyed peas and cabbage.
I end up delighting on the “Açorda” that was a side dish of the fried “petinga”(small sardine like whitebait)
It was one of the best “Açorda” I’ve eaten in my life.
All food we ordered was fresh and delicious.

I recommend this place 100% and no doubt I’ll be back

Most tables had reserved signs on them. We were lucky in that we got a table without having had made a reservation. We soon understood why. Starters of mussels and vegetable soup were both delicious. My partner had an excellent lemon sole (Linguado) and I had octopus (Polvo a Largareiro) which is probably the best I've had anywhere. Both were served with boiled potato and lots of greens.
