You can find out about the gorgeous Kopke ports at the source. Our guide for the tour was Lily and she was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and didn't mind answering even the silliest of questions. Suggest you try the evening tour as you can miss the bus tours which can be quite busy.The guest house itself has very friendly staff especially Michel. They offer three course meal at night and we tried one day and the meal was fantastic. I was looking for a place that served “Migas à moda de Coimbra”, which is a dish made with bread, black eyed peas and cabbage.
I end up delighting on the “Açorda” that was a side dish of the fried “petinga”(small sardine like whitebait)
It was one of the best “Açorda” I’ve eaten in my life.
All food we ordered was fresh and delicious.
