Lunch with friends. Great service and decoration and atmosphere according to the restaurant level. Price-quality is very good, although their culinary proposal was not entirely to my taste. The wine list with many references from its winery has very reasonable prices. We let ourselves be advised by the Maitre who made us 2 good recommendations for Biodynamic wines.
We reserved a table at "1896" during our vacation to celebrate our engagement. The Google reviews about this restaurant and also the recommendations we received locally for the "1896" are really no exaggeration. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with exquisite cuisine (classic 3-course menu) and excellent and very attentive service. Many thanks for the wonderful evening to the whole team at "1896".
A fabulous and yet relaxed spot. Beef tartare was literally to die for. Sommelier did an amazing job pairing up my options (starter, main, dessert, coffee) with Portuguese wines and ports. Absolutely LOVED every minute of the whole experience.
