The meats look good but none of them are truly matured (or if they are not aged correctly) the prices are super high and in addition the rice was heated in the microwave right in front of us and the potatoes were ok. The lady said that you didn't pay for the bone but when it was time to pay, we had to pay for it. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't something that corresponded to the prices they set either. I wouldn't go back

Local steakhouse, not to be missed when you're in Ponta Delgada and like meat! We asked the waitress to advise us on which type of local meat to choose and she did an excellent job. We had a great meal and a good Portugese wine. It's best to make a reservation for dinner.

I loved the Azores beef they put here; Of course, you should ask for it a little less cooked than we would normally ask for it.
I usually order the meat medium well, I have ordered it medium, and it would have still been good if I had ordered medium rare

Tasty meat, good cuts and nicely prepared.
Service can and should really be better when you serve this quality of meat. The service is a bit surly and rushed.
We were outside within 45 minutes with a small starter.
€65 for 2 people with 1 drink and a large bottle of water including tip. Excellent price.
We were lucky to have a spot, so booking is recommended!

I have to say this is an absolute "must try" when you visit the Azores. The T-Bone steak I had there was the absolute best I've ever tasted! The owner Louis is one of the nicest restaurant owners you'll ever meet and he will take the time to explain why his steak is the absolute best...and trust me it is!
My wife who never enjoys eating steak out without some kind of sauce was also in disbelief and didn't require any additional seasoning as it melted in her mouth as well. This is a hidden gem and worth the short walk from the city center! Enjoy!

Looks so great. We are from uk and we check this place in google reviews and we decided to pop in between our connections flights in ponta delgada . Unfortunately waiting time was 1 hour but never mind next time I will book in. I can’t remember the name of the one member off the staff that was very helpful and polite but definitely is one of the best place to have a proper bbq meal , on the way to the airport I spoke to the taxi driver and him confirmed that the are on of the best of the best .

Rita was an absolute gem-knowledgeable regarding the various cuts of meat and very attentive. The owner José has a wonderful presence and is happy to share insight regarding the cuisine, drinks, and island-highly recommend this place-Muito Obrigadaaaaaa!
