If you want to check out of life and never leave a hotel property--go here! It's perched up high on a cliff so the views are lovely. The rooms are very nice, service is excellent, tons of food choices--all of our meals were very good. There are several pools--the adulty (kids 12 and over can go) has cabanas to rent that are relaxing. If you want a cabana, book it for all the days you're there because they go fast and there are only a handful. If you order $100 in food and drinks then the cabana is basically feet--it's a no brainer. The beach at the hotel is very small but does have lounge chairs with comfortable cushions but no bar or food service other than soda and local beer. There are two kids pools, plenty of lounge chairs for all. The only reason why we wouldn't go back to this hotel is the beach club--it was a big disappointment of which we complained to the manager about. We went to the beach club via shuttle (also very annoying bc it gets crowded and only one per hour so you need to plan ahead), we arrived to the beach at Noon and every chair was gone. The hotel has only two rows of chairs and apparently you need to get there at 9 AM to get one. The rest of the chairs are for rental via public beach visitors. I found this incredibly annoying and disappointing as we love the beach. There is also no food and beverage service to the chairs unless you rent a bed at one of the restaurants which we did but it wasn't enjoyable. The beds are far from the water, uncomfortable and basically part of the restaurant. Sadly, we didn't venture back to the beach and ended up staying at the hotel pool. The manager, who was very nice, didn't seem to get how this is a problem. I understand that all beaches are public in Portugal but they can still could (and should) have more chairs for their hotel guests vs. selling them to others. We were at the Sublime in Comporta prior to this hotel and there was not an issue at their beach club. There were plenty of chairs and help where at this beach club, you were on your own. If you have young kids--this is a great hotel. Tons of families and children. Lots to do on the hotel grounds--games, golf, tennis, basketball.
I stayed at Vila Vita Parc with a friend for 3 nights. We each got our own suite as this was going to be our little splurge portion of our girls trip through Portugal. When we arrived, our rooms were not ready yet so we sat a bit on the outdoor terrace to have a drink and wait. The manager then informed me that because they didnt have both suites available for our stay, they were upgrading my suite to a penthouse suite. It turned out to be one of the nicest upgrades I've had in a long time. The room itself was huge and lavish. It had two bathrooms. A living room and a dining room. A little kitchenette. A wrap around patio with lounge chairs, sofa, seating area. A huge, huge, huge walk in closet. And a private bedroom. Truly spectacular. The manager also went out of his way to welcome us and every time he saw us, he would ask how our stay was going, which I appreciated and took note of. The property is HUGE. So expect to walk alot to get around. There are many restaurants to chose from but you must make reservations ahead of time because they do get completely sold out. I had dinner at Ocean, which was spectacular and lived up to its reputation. We also dined at Giardino, which had great food but poor service. And we also did the Japanese restaurant which was good. The coffee shop on site is the best. Excellent coffee and I really loved talking to Jose every day. The beach is gorgeous. There is a little cove area with chairs. I recommend getting there early to get a spot. The water is very cold and super refreshing. The pools get busier than the beach. And the crowd IS a bit older, I noticed, in general at the resort. There were very far and few younger couples or friends but probably due to the price point of the hotel. Overall, it was a very nice hotel that really takes its maintenance seriously. A great option for a luxurious vacation, if that is what you are looking for.
Vila Vita has everything you need to relax and have an elegant, fun vacation as a couple or with friends. The resort has everything you need including access to a yacht for private touring. The Beach Club seafood restaurant is worth the excursion, purely for the food and service, don’t go for the beach unless you absolutely need sand. The staff is very accommodating and responsive- you ask for it- they do their best to make it happen. It’s a tight ship on dining, making reservations on property is necessary. Not the best place for young kids. Missed going to the Spa, which was unusual but I wanted pool, sun, service great food and adult beverages: mission accomplished!
This was our seventh stay at the lovely VVP. In all respects it was probably our best due to a number of factors. The professionalism of the staff seems to have improved, along with the food quality at the restaurants we visited (Bella Vita and the new Giardinos). The gardens seemed to be better tended with far fewer weeds and no very long waits for buggies, unlike previous years. Special thanks to the new waiter in the breakfast area overlooking the sea - Rumu and as always the very great service received from Vera, Oswaldo and Paulo in the Palm Bar. Also very good staff in the downstairs bar. We can't wait to return next year.
Great Hotel at a superb location. Friendly, competent staff. Every employee goes the extra mile for their guests. We stayed in a room with sea view at the residence. Couldn't have been better. Direct access to a nice little beach. But you can also use the complimentary shuttle to their own beach club with a great sandy beach. The Vila Vita Parc offers all you would dream of and beyond! Very good restaurants in the resort and at the beach as well as a stunning breakfast. Its not cheap but in my opinion good value for what you get! We really can recommend this beautiful resort.
Impeccable service, and beautiful setting. everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I would say avoid the orange fried chicken, this is the only meal that did not go down well.

Our visit to Vila Vita Parc was an exceptional family trip. Each of my adult children and especially my 2 1/2 year old grandson was able to enjoy an amazing array of activities and services together and separately. It was a perfect combination of family togetherness and individual relaxation. The breakfast buffet was a great start for each active day. The food at the variety of restaurants we tried was really good. Most of all the entire staff made us feel welcome and addressed any need we had.

This was our second time at the resort and we loved everything about it. We came the first time just my husband and I and thought it was romantic and peaceful but also so beautiful and wanted to bring our children back. We returned this time with our children, and found that it was a special place for the whole family. Our kids also have severe food allergies and they took it very seriously and were extremely accommodating. We definitely hope to return.
The comfort is the expected "standard" comfort of a very good, well kept 5 stars hotel. Nothing is worn, all is luxurious and top notch quality. The overall decoration is on the conservative/american side, not modern. I think it is fair to say it is all organized to perfectly suit the american rich tourists: the offer is all articulated around a truly exceptional level of service and restaurants offer. We were 3 families, all very well traveled, and everybody agreed that they never had such a constantly high quality of service. Outstanding. The trade off is clear, the prices are incredibly high for Portugal. We are talking twice as expensive as the usual high end places and 3 to 4 times more expensive than the regular places
Vila Vita Parc checks off every box for a vacation. Beautiful resort and beaches but most importantly beautiful people working at Vila Vita Parc. The food was amazing. We will definitely return to Vila Vita Parc.
We've enjoyed every minute since our arrival to the resort, felt like all the staff were making us feel very special and welcomed. The entire facility was very relaxing and the views were breathtaking. Thanks to all the amazing staff and a very special appreciation to Mr. Hugo Comceico who made our night under the full blue moon unforgettable.
This is a truly beautiful hotel resort in a seaside location in the Algarve. Positives - 1. Stunning setting, beautiful surroundings, modern and very well maintained facilities. Everything feels premium & luxury - nothing at all is ‘tired’. 2. Dedicated pools for younger children & families and likewise for adults only (12+). 3. Amazing staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. 4. Food in the breakfast buffet and restaurants was fantastic (we only tried two particularly toddler friendly ones - Whale and Adega). Negative - 1. Prices in the resort are extremely expensive. In my opinion, prices were very high even though it is a premium resort. In some cases, it seemed unnecessary. For example, €6.50 for a bottle of water, or €2 for a box to take the leftovers of our toddlers dinner back to the room! Other things worth knowing - 1. The resort is in a more residential area / suburb of Armacao de Pera so there are not many local restaurants or shops other than what is in the resort. You’ll need a taxi (or the hotel shuttle service) to get into the local town. 2. The resort is quite hilly / across lots of levels. If you have a pushchair with you, be ready for lots of uphill pushing and occasionally grappling with steps!
