Cafe del Mar offers a fantastic dining experience with friendly service and good value for money. Located in a prime spot with great views out to sea, the cozy atmosphere is enhanced by perfect lighting. The grilled fish and chef’s pudding of the day are highly recommended. The sea bass, served butterflied with potatoes and vegetables, is particularly outstanding—fresh and locally caught. The setting facing the sea is beautiful, especially on the terrace, which is popular and worth arriving early to secure a spot. The octopus à lagareiro is excellent, and the monkfish pasta with prawns and monkfish rice with prawns are highly praised dishes. Despite some mixed reviews about service timing and staff interactions, the food and wine are good, and the staff are generally nice, making it a memorable place to dine.
