Having time to kill before my flight, I found O Fourno on TripAdvisor. What a wonderful way to conclude the Camino Portuguese! The food was beautiful and the ambiance warm and caring. I had what’s called half a portion of the veal in the oven, with roast potatoes, cabbage and carrots. It was succulent and delicious at €12.75. Having fallen in love with Portugal’s Vino Verde, I had a bottle of this @ €4.00 Knowing how good it would be, I was greedy and had two desserts, homemade chocolate mousse and almond cake. Both were exquisite. Marianne served me with great attention to detail and the atmosphere was happy, with family celebrations nearby. The final bill came to just over €25. I will definitely be back for another happy lunch!
