“So good that we went back the next day for my birthday!Excellent Italian restaurant. Pleasant and smiling staff, boss accommodating to find you a table even if the restaurant is full. The dishes are fresh, quality and excellent. We will return with our eyes closed, thank you for everything.”
“Perfect from starter to dessert. Subtle and original. Simply amazing “curry like” dessert, spicy and powdery. Nice selection of wine. Casual but very professional service.”
““My experience at MU Restaurant was exceptional from the moment I walked in. The service was impeccable and the quality of the meat was unmatched. The atmosphere of the place is simply beautiful, and the gesture of welcoming us with a glass of wine added a special touch to our evening. I definitely recommend them! In MU you eat 10.””
“We loved this place, really cozy, authentic and delicious food! We recommend the menu of the day! Especially the vegetable soup tasted really good! Would go again!”
“Enjoyed a delicious meal here. My husband and I each had the couvert, I had the caprese salad and my husband had a garden salad. We split those and both enjoyed each salad very much. He had the mushroom risotto and I had the lasagna. Everything was brought to us quickly and was very fresh. Will definitely go again.”

“A top team, for a perfect meal! Each of the dishes offered are unique and as good as each other! On top of that, the prices are inexpensive, enough to enjoy at any time of the day! Go there with your eyes closed.”
“We enjoyed this place alot regarding varieties of craft beer and the chill out area outside. Really nice spot to enjoy some good beers. They had some barbecue going on too but we had some food already, seemed lile worth checking out for sure. Super kind service like usual everywhere in the craft scene. Oh yeh nor to forget , they had a nice live band getting it on”
“We came here off of a recommendation from our host and we’re thrilled that we did.The food so good, it’s a nice touch that the menu changes regularly and that it all explained so well. The menu is really interesting, there were some pairings that were new to us. Every mouthful was delicious. The service was also impeccable. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. We were made to feel right at home and we weren’t rushed.Pricing is great too, we expected to pay a lot more than we did.10/10 would recommend ?”

“Quite a discovery in a residential area.Japanese food on one hand and delicious fish on the other. We tried the gyozas (we are fans of Japanese food and they are the best we have ever tried), a salmon tataki and a free styles sushi (the 50-piece one). Also, one of us ordered cod (cooked Portuguese style) which was perfect. The desserts are very good.”

“PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE. Birthday dinner was a success. Food, service, and atmosphere is why it rightfully has its Michelin backing. Pictures don’t do it justiceFood: Chef Pedro’s understanding of sauce and flavor profiles comes out in every dish. Each item on your plate is able to shine in its own light, while intertwining with the rest of the dish to bring you a masterful experience be in each bite. Also the vegetarian tasting menu (partner is vegetarian) is a unique option for fine dining and did not disappoint- one of her all time favoritesService: every single member of the team worked in lockstep to make sure you were taken care of from the moment you walk in. Celebrated my birthday here and they went above and beyond.Atmosphere: intimate experience, comfortable seats, great decor.Would gladly go again, night after night.”
“An amazing culinary experience! It is expensive but it is worth the price. Food is incredible, the staff are both welcoming and extremely professional and precise in what they’re doing - which is really a joy to watch, and really adds to the entire dinner. Great vibes too. Honestly, a must do when visiting Portugal.”
“I accidentally ended up going to Peebz with my wife. And I became a customer... Because in addition to the burgers being divine, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I will definitely go back.”
“We ended up there by chance and after one evening menu we became real fans of this restaurant! Rarely enjoyed such tasty and inspired creative cuisine, both vegetarian and fish equally delicious. In addition, the very friendly and competent service and the tasteful and natural ambience were very pleasant. This evening was worth the money!”
“Delicious food - we had mushroom empanadas and a rib steak both of which were delicious and cooked exceptionally. The atmosphere was a little quiet given it was a Saturday night - but that also meant we were able to get a table when surrounding places were full. Not sure why it’s not busier the food is excellent.”
“Everything was so good, the only we didn’t love was the steak, but the rest of the plates were delicious. The Bacalhau croquettes were really good! Both desserts were just DELICIOUS!”

“Torto is the best cocktail bar in Porto !But WARNING: do not go there on your last night in Porto if you have a flight at 6am.The staff is so damn cool, music is a vibe and the drinks are made to perfection that you will think one more can’t hurt.Well… We lost our flight and now have to stay some more days until the next, overall, we blame the coolest bar in Porto for it!See you again later tonight for some more drinks ❤️?”
“Just go! Go! Go! Make a reservation as they are almost always full. It is small and quaint and the food is phenomenal. João was the consummate host. Complimentary champagne, olives and fresh warm bread. Then we had the soup of the day, chicken meatballs, peppered pasta with pecorino and ham cheeks with mash potatoes and broccolini. Last but not least lemon orange cake that melts in your mouth. Everything was amazing! I wish I could give them 10 stars!”

“100% recommended, very delicious breakfast and super friendly waiters, they open at 8, we arrived at 7:30 and they let us come in earlier and have a great coffee ☺️ Very obrigada!!”
“Lovely experience that I cannot recommend enough. Incredibly fresh and high quality ingredients cooked simply. The octopus in green sauce was cooked perfectly, best octopus I’ve ever had. Service was very professional and paced perfectly. If you’re from the US, you know how much rushed service can ruin a meal. Not here. A perfect meal overall, come here if you’re in Porto!”
“Everything was perfect! The kindness of the people, the food with huge plates and really delicious, the atmosphere very quiet and relaxing.Kid-friendliness: The owner was very kind with our daughter.”
“Pregar ‘nailed’ it with their Prego no Pão. They were the best we had in Portugal. The thicker cuts of tender, juicy, flavorful meat made all the difference from any other Prego no Pão that we tried. When in Porto, Pregar is a must-try, culinary gem for anyone looking for good quality sandwiches. It was good enough that we went back twice in our one week stay on Porto.”
“Beautiful restaurant and lovely people working there! The food was delicious, the ragu special was perfect and the burrata is so fresh! 100% will come back to Porto just to visit here!”
“Informal environment, amazing cod. We ate two appetizers, cod with lemon sauce and chips and cod chips with parsley mayonnaise. Then we had two plates of cod assado....fantastic, served with potato sheets. All accompanied by an excellent green wine. Best quality.”
“Superb experience. Very very good dishes and very nice servers. Small downside: the service is very fast. You don't have time to finish your bite as your plate is already removed.”
“We dropped in for pizza, only to be told you need to book ahead for GF. We did so for 24h later. Super glad we did - possibly the best GF pizza ever, indistinguishable from the regular ones. All three pizzas were super fresh, on a lovely thin crispy base. All the staff were lovely too. Highly recommended.ObrigadoVegetarian options: Plenty and deliciousDietary restrictions: You need to book ahead for GF pizza, but it’s well worth the effortKid-friendliness: Really good, no issues at all”
“Very good in terms of food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, overall everything is greatWheelchair accessibility: There are conditions for people in wheelchairs to walk at will”
“Excellent vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Porto, located near the town hall square. We tried the hummus and the vegan burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was really excellent, generous portions and a reasonable price for the city. Really excellent quality, it offers a wide choice of dishes and the waiter's service was quick and precise.”
“It seemed like it was in a station, but I didn't think there was an entrance from inside the station, and when I looked for the entrance from the outside, there were a lot of construction boards, so it felt a bit eerie. It would be better to go inside the station. It opens for dinner at 7 o'clock, but I couldn't make a reservation, so I walked in, and at 8 o'clock, I was asked if I could sit in the reserved table for other guests, so I quickly ate and left within an hour (the woman who assigned me a seat was very kind).I ate cataplanna with rice, which Koreans love, and it was a taste that brought warmth to my exhausted body after walking around in the rain.”
“I'm living in Porto for a month. This is the most delicious I've ever eaten. This is my first time logging into Google at a restaurant while eating to write a review.Duck Steak Medium RarePortuguese Creamy Biscuit CakeBe sure to try these twoDuck steak is made with port wine sauce. It's sweet and moist on the outside.I thought it was a different duck from the ducks I knew in my life. The desserts are especially great.I don’t know why Porto is famous for its egg tarts. This Porto traditional cake is even crazier.Second review after 6 daysEven though we ate the same menu,I enjoyed it so muchThis time the drink was decaffeinated coffee.I wonder why it's so deliciousSweet and salty duck meat steakThe combination of sweet and salty cake goes well together. The texture of the steak is tangy on the outside and inside. The biscuit cake also tastes good on the outside haha.Even the second time, it's not as delicious.I am very satisfied”
“What a wonderful place!Beautiful and pleasant atmosphere, VERY tasty and well served food, the service isn't even worth mentioning! We were served by Silvia, who was extremely friendly and attentive. What a delicious experience. It's so worth it!I highly recommend it!”
“Maybe it's because the weather finally changed to be dry and nice out, but this place was packed every night we were staying in Porto. Beautiful spot to hang with all the cool kids.”
“We returned to Porto after we finished the Camino. We had not decided where to have supper the night we arrived, but walking around we were fortunate to have literally stumbled on Incontro Bistrot. We did not have a reservation, but as it was early, we were seated. The staff were just as nice as they could be, and the food was out of this world. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next evening, with a reservation of course. Everything is fresh and perfectly prepared. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!”
“If you want craft beer, good vibes and great people, this is where you go in Porto. The owner works the bar and is super knowledgeable and friendly. They had a pop up chef cooking the few nights that I stopped by and the food was amazing. Kudos to the chefs! Other than that this place is a fun friendly environment that beckons you back through good music and excellent beer. Cheers Suzy and Dendy!!! Happy 2nd Birthday BaoBab!!!”

“One of the best meals I ever had! A very unique, charming little restaurant with nice staff which gives you a vegan option of the traditional portguese kitchen. Definitvely worth a visit!”
“We enjoyed 2 appetizers - fresh spring rolls and a salad, 1 shrimp curry and 1 vegetarian noodle dish - plus an amazing, creative yogurt desert AND passion fruit gin and tonics (served with half of a fresh passion fruit!). Everything was excellent - the shrimp curry was truly memorable! Great service, hip neighborhood with art galleries, and local artisan shops. We will be dining with TAB again soon!Vegetarian options: All noodles and curries offer vegetarian options plus several vegetarian appetizers”
“It is a restaurant with very good typical Indian food and some dishes or drinks are not often found in other restaurants of its kind.Very careful and extremely friendly service!I highly recommend trying it and enjoying it!”
“An exceptional place. The food, the ambience and the staff are fabulous. The owner is a sommelier and is truly dedicated to providing a great experience for the patrons. He is running the place not as a business machine but as a passion of his. That is what truly makes it unique. A friend of mine and I had a long chat about wine with him and he was so knowledgeable and warm and open. He spent a couple of hours chatting with us and giving us a fantastic taste across an array of lovely Portuguese wines. We are planning on going back to Lisbon for work in a couple of years, but we are definitely going to add a Porto trip to go back to ODE.ps. The owner is also open to selling wine from his collection. Don't miss it if you are after some really good Portuguese wines. Thanks Cristovao! We (Nima & Andre) will back!”
“Booked a wine experience with my husband based on google reviews and was not disappointed. We both enjoy wine but are beginners in tasting and knowledge. This tasting was perfect for us with Rafa going through the basics and keeping it fun and enjoyable. The wine bar is small and cosy and perfectly fit the group of 6 that were tasting. We learned so much and would recommend! We tasted 6 wines, 3 white and 3 red.We payed by card with no problem.”
“Such a beautiful place with beautiful delicious food from the cooks! Wonderful service from Giuseppe and Sara, that made us feel welcomed! Amazing experience overall! The garden was an extra treat!”
“Food is elegantly plated and tasted great with some dairy free and gluten free options well marked on the menu. It’s a small place with a strange vibe and I didn’t really enjoy eating in there.”
“Great place to drink good wine, The manager gave us very good advice according to our tastes and desires. Many thanks for taking the time to advise us! And the little extra, the managers are French ??And the boards are to die for!”
“After two days of wandering and culinary misunderstandings, at the suggestion of our local guide, we ended up in Flow.Despite the late hour, there was a table for usCompetent staff, great wine recommendation for the mealFood of a high standardIt's worth coming back here”
“Excellent breakfasts, informal environment. Some evenings are organized with board games, you pay a premium but it's nice. Excellent choice of herbal teas and cocktails.Vegetarian options: Good composition with couscous, hummus, falafel”
“Curioso is very close to the Douro river, behind that big red music hall, Hard Club. I was hoping this bar would have weird & creative drink options and I wasn't disappointed. We loved this place! Intimate setting, many small tables, cool decor/vibes, decent prices for handcrafted & complicated drinks. Definitely recommend ?”
“Lucas was a fantastic host, and provided lots of interesting information during the wine tasting. Would really highly recommend! Definitely worth the €30 it costs”
“Great vietnamita food, delicious and tasting as homemade food. I loved it and really recommend. The place is simple but we felt as home. Recommend plate number 17!Parking: It was very easy to find a place to park on street close to the restaurant.”
“Reservation: Make a reservation and visit one of the Michelin recommended restaurants in Porto.Reservations can be made without a deposit and are not difficult.Service: Friendly and attentive 1-star service. The atmosphere was calm and I remember drinking wine.Food: The bread served as a starter had a good temperature, but it was disappointing that it felt lumpy. The taste of basil butter also doesn't feel harmonious. When the fish dishes were brought to the table as an appetizer, there was a slight smell that was disappointing. The portions were generous, but the seasoning of the dishes and the harmony of the side dishes were disappointing.Price: I think it's a great price at 120 euros for 2 breads, 2 appetizers, 2 mains, a bottle of water, and a bottle of wine.”
“Probably one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Willow was a waiter and took excellent care of us, Very knowledgeable about the food and made us feel comfortable and we will come again because of him and the food”
“Delicious food - we had mushroom empanadas and a rib steak both of which were delicious and cooked exceptionally. The atmosphere was a little quiet given it was a Saturday night - but that also meant we were able to get a table when surrounding places were full. “(Translated by Google) Very good, nice and open space, you can breathe. Current music.(Original)Muito bom, espaço agradável e aberto, se pode respirar. Música atual.”
“Perfect. "Folhado" with a dose was enough for 4 people (ham, cheese, meat and the outer layer) and it comes with "Ovos Rotos", rice and veggies. Amazing food, delicious and to repeat. Expectations were well delivered. (The waitress could smile more tho!..)”
“A lovely relaxing wine bar with Jazz music.Server gave us a briefing and suggested wines to taste. Quite enjoyable. Had a couple desserts in bite sized pieces - ”

Takeout Restaurants
“Best coffee in Porto! I have been going here for years as I love the coffee (the latte is perfect, creamy, never boiled), the croissants are just so lovely same as the other baked goods and the breakfast options include overnight oats as well. The cream cheese bagel with samon is my favourite lunch option. You can buy eco feiendly takeaway coffe mugs, and if you bring your own for takw-away it chips off a bit of the coffee price - i love how environemental friendly they are. The vibe in the place is just great, the owners are lovely and super welcoming, making the place a little hub for foreigners especially. What I mostly love is that they are pet friendly and their labrador Pixi is in the shop with them, sleeping near the window. Their coffe and petting Pixie is what starts my morning the way it should.”
“Kind staff, good atmosphere to work a bit from your laptop, they are not bothered by people working as long as it’s not during their busy hours. Big recommendation if you want to get some work done and enjoy a nice snack/coffee whole doing so”
“Great soup, salad and sandwich shop in the heart of Porto. Quaint space with super friendly and patient staff. Amazing food and a good lunch deal (at least for this tourist) - 11€ for soup, sandwich and a drink.”
“sind zufällig dort gelandet. Super freundlicher Empfang. Es war voll und wir saßen an der Bar. Es gab landestypisches Essen und dazu Superbock. Alles war lecker, klare Empfehlung.”
“The best ice cream in Portugal.Superb ice cream with unusual, surprising flavors created by Ana Ferreira, the true Portuguese ice cream master.Doubts? Visit and soon (with) you will taste it.Congratulations Ana and Isabel.”
“A must-do, just off the beach, this little typical Portuguese restaurant serves high-quality cuisine!! Simple, tasty and well-stocked plates, a must-do!!! Value for money ???”
“Delicious food! Came out very quick! Great service from Pedro!Best chips I’ve ever had, freshly made. We had a starter of octopus with parsley (it was very good) The peppercorn sauce for the pepper steak was wonderful, as well as the grilled chicken. Overall a great dining experience. Highly recommended!”
“it is delicious! It was especially nice because it had the most spacious and comfortable seating among the three known Nata restaurants. If you pair it with espresso, you can get two in no time!”
“I had a nice meal there. We ordered 2 chicken breast with vegetable soup and mushrooms soup. Side order was basmati rice, broccoli and carrots. The service was very good and I enjoyed the food. Julia was our waitress. She was great.”
“A real find in Porto!!!! A place with incredible buffet service. Lots of food and drink options, the lime dessert is wonderful, and not to mention the service was extremely friendly and receptive. Congratulations!”
“Very warm and friendly atmosphere to taste typical dishes and very generously served. Jean the boss makes fantastic tripe and is delighted to see his customers taste them. A real good address, a little far from the tourist areas but worth the detour!”
“Delicious brunch at a fair price. The pancakes had the perfect texture, they could just be a little sweeter in my opinion. The eggs were a little less cooked than what we ordered, but they were also very good. There was a little hair in our cappuccino but they quickly apologized and changed it. Important information before you go: they only accept payment in cash, so be prepared :)”
“Very friendly staff, good, hearty meal and at a very affordable price compared to what you can find when visiting the city. 40€ for 4 for 4 dishes and 4 drinks. I really recommend.Kid-friendliness: Our 2 children found dishes to their liking (turkey escalopes and Burger) without any worries!”
“Un lieu très agréable et un service encore plus agréable ! Nous remercions la personne qui nous a servis pour sa gentillesse. Les glaces sont à tomber, même si le prix est un peu plus élevé qu'ailleurs cela vaut le coût de se faire plaisir. Du choix, de la qualité et un bon endroit. Nous recommandons !”
“The establishment is presented as a sushi restaurant, as the name suggests, but, in fact, it only offers take-away service.I don't know if this is a temporary situation, but from what I was told on the phone, no. They only do take-away.They apparently have old photos, from when they were a restaurant, of tables and chairs that only create false expectations. The information on Google indicates that it is possible to eat on site and that there is even a terrace, which does not correspond to reality, because after all they are only take-away.And if the terrace is for waiting for take-away, it shouldn't be mentioned as an extra!I would recommend honest updating of information to avoid customer disappointment.”
“Excellent place to be with the family, wonderful service, wonderful food. Without a doubt the best place I've ever been to in Portugal, and I will certainly be an eternally loyal customer. Congratulations to everyone involved ❤️?”

“100% recommend ?????The chef described the restaurant as an Izakaya fusion of Japan and Portugal. This, and another izakaya near Parque das Aguas, are tied for best izakaya in Portugal.Absolutely creative cuisine, full of flavors and seasonality. You may not eat the same thing on a future visit, so savor every bite. Most seats are around the bar (plus 1 actual 4 top table in a corner). Setup is a 12 or 14 course meal composed of single bite presentations, soup, dessert. Drinks extra. Plan on 70 - 100 per person with drinks.”
“Everything I ate was incredibly delicious. Normally it is a place that would be given full points, but it has two problems:Portion price balance is problematic. They should either increase the portions a little or the prices should drop a little. So, of course, this varies depending on the portions you are used to. I'm just stating my own expectations. It could be ideal for Portugal. But there are also Portuguese people in the comments who think like me, so they can think about this issue a bit.And the music is too loud. But I will touch upon the taste again. I really tried their menu from starter to dessert, everything was delicious. The employees are also very friendly.”
“Excellent menu, staff, location. Food was either from Buffett (cold) or ordered from the waiter staff. Well prepared, very attentive, wonderfully creative food. Located in Le Monumental Palace hotel in the middle of Porto. Recommended highly for breakfast; I am assuming lunch and dinner would be as special as breakfast.”
“The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and is very intimate, from the moment you enter the experience begins... in our case we went on a Friday and there was a DJ.The margarita was spectacular and the dishes were generally correct.Perfect for a date or lively dinner with friends.”
“We ordered a risotto as a main dish and it was spectacular, the croquettes were very delicious with truffle sauce, the cod fritters were the best I've ever had. The garlic prawns were very average but they were good. Very good and fast service.”
“Very good restaurant in the Sheraton Porto hotel spa. Healthy options, ceviche, carpaccio, fish, and fresh season fruits. The wine list in really good and has most of the varieties in Portugal. A good option when staying in the hotel. Staff is kind and friendly.”
“Perfect view of Porto at night from the 17th floor. Refined and delicious cuisine. Service worthy of a starred restaurant.Of course everything has to be paid for and The 17th restaurant is more expensive than the other restaurants in Porto, but it remains reasonable, I highly recommend itWheelchair accessibility: Elevator”
“Was a very happy because I finally found somewhere that did vegan francesinhas!!Nice food but genuinely the SLOWEST service i think i’ve ever received in all my years on this sweet earth…”
“We had difficulty finding the place, it is a place separated into several small restaurants, the atmosphere is cool and the people who work there are friendly. The meal was good, the bowl ”
“That was an unforgettable dinner, the waitress and the waiter and the barkeeper were friendly and helpful. Wherever I shall come back to Porto, I shall visit this restaurant again.Peace and love”
“I just had a great gay night. I was lovely drunk, I danced like no one was watching and I listened to the playlist I was expecting: so commercial and wonderful that would put to shame my past 20 year old me. A bit too overcrowded when we left, but no complains.”
“Very impressive rice noodlesIt's a lot of food and delicious, but at 12 euros, it's a very reasonable price in Europe!!They give me a lot of meat and lettuce. It's really hot and delicious. I hope it goes well.I really recommend it”
“It is, without a doubt, the best vegetarian I have ever tasted! The experience is great, from the moment you enter, the waiters are super attentive, and then the food is INCREDIBLE.If you go to Porto, you can't miss it!I wish I lived there and could always go to eat here? “Stunning location, view of the large iron bridge over the Douro river, good food as well as drink..... It's a place where, once I enter and find a free table (not a given) I have to go to the cashier to place my order and pay.... Finally go and get what you ordered at the table.”

“A bit of a walk from the waterfront/center area, but well worth it. Vegetarian options available, dark beer on tap, great food. The type of place that the locals eat at. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: On the menu!”
“Great experience with delicious food!Pros:1. High Quality Sushi, one of the best! Thick sashimi, some tasty original pieces and well-prepared sushi rolls!2. Place was elegant and It wasn't crowded (07:40 PM on a Friday).3. Staff was very attentive, patient and helpful.Cons:None.”
“We live in Mexico and were craving some tacos. The tacos were pretty good. They weren't completely Mexican. They were close, but missing some bold flavors. The Cochinita Pibil was not close (we live in the Yucatan). The carnitas were very good as was the steak. The Governador was OK, vampire was not because the tortilla was like old crunchy. The food seemed reheated. The salsas were not spicy. The spicy macha one wasn't flavorful and not sure why it's labeled that. It's nothing like the real one. This place is good for cheap, quick tacos, that is still better than most of the other food.”
“Receiving you with a handshake and a big smile, extremely welcoming staff, Rui was amazing and super helpful, add to that an amazing food and a great atmosphere !! 10/10This place is a must if you are passing by Porto”
“They have an all vegan buffet! We got carry out in a large box for 8€ and it was plenty of food. Everything was delicious with inventive dishes. My favorite was the breaded mushrooms. We really enjoyed our meal and there was plenty to choose from. Very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.”
“Very friendly staff, very good food, very reasonable, good wine and beer, and no concerns when 4 of us rolled in with all our luggage taking over a whole corner for over an hour trying to figure out how to get in our air BnB.”
“Amazing local place with very friendly and professional staff! Great francesinha and fries! If you want a tasty dish and to feel the atmosphere of a really local cafe - that’s the right place!”
“Typical Portuguese cuisine with no frills, few things, but done well with fair prices, it doesn't fleece tourists. Friendly service, but careless bifana to eat more than one, very tasty soup and as an Italian I must say excellent coffee. Clear prices without very welcoming gimmicks.Vegetarian options: YesParking: FewKid-friendliness: If they fitWheelchair accessibility: Perhaps”
“It's so so deliciousOf course, since it's freshly made hot pizza,It's a food that can't help but be delicious.I couldn't eat the whole plate so I left one piece and packed it away. You can order one plate per person!I showed him the picture and asked him to make it like this.It was the best choice.Next time, I want to try pizza with truffles.I ordered it from the table next to me and the truffle scent was crazy?”

Honestly, a must do when visiting Portugal.”
“Kind staff, good atmosphere to work a bit from your laptop, they are not bothered by people working as long as it’s not during their busy hours. Big recommendation if you want to get some work done and enjoy a nice snack/coffee whole doing so”
“Just love, fabulous pizza!! After our awful experience up the road who shall remain nameless this was heaven...friendly, good choice, heated it up for you, spaces and herbs to add , beer , and Artic Monkeys !!!❤️❤️❤️”
“Great place! Thai food is authentic and delicious. We got Spring Rolls, Pad See Ew, and Drunken Noodles. Great flavor! Owner is Thai and knows what she's doing. Place is very cute and service was great. Owner was attentive and engaging. Great value too. 5 stars!”
“Everything was perfect! The kindness of the people, the food with huge plates and really delicious, the atmosphere very quiet and relaxing.Kid-friendliness: The owner was very kind with our daughter.”
“Eddie Klub Bar and Whisky is a great experience whisky house, Eddie and the team are knowledgable and friendly offering a fabulous overview of the art of whisky making and tasting without any of the stuffy attitude that often comes with whisky clubs. This is a great place to start your evening and try some amazing whisky even if like me you think you don’t like Whisky Eddie will find something that you will love.”
“This is the first restaurant I visited after arriving in Porto for a TV program. It wasn't because it opened at 12:30, but because I didn't have anything to do when I arrived, I decided to get there early, but by 12:13, a Chinese couple had already arrived, and we were the second. And then there were 7 teams behind... I was lucky enough to get a good seat right away as soon as the restaurant opened. (Oh, by the way! It doesn't open at 12:30, but enters around 12:40). There were three of us, and it was Oba who ordered two seafood and octopus rice. There is no need to eat seafood here. The sea bass is really delicious, so be sure to order it. The aperitif bread is also delicious!”
“I accidentally ended up going to Peebz with my wife. And I became a customer... Because in addition to the burgers being divine, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I will definitely go back.”
“Such a beautiful place with beautiful delicious food from the cooks! Wonderful service from Giuseppe and Sara, that made us feel welcomed! Amazing experience overall! The garden was an extra treat!”
“100% recommended, very delicious breakfast and super friendly waiters, they open at 8, we arrived at 7:30 and they let us come in earlier and have a great coffee ☺️ Very obrigada!!”
“Great soup, salad and sandwich shop in the heart of Porto. Quaint space with super friendly and patient staff. Amazing food and a good lunch deal (at least for this tourist) - 11€ for soup, sandwich and a drink.”
“Food is elegantly plated and tasted great with some dairy free and gluten free options well marked on the menu. It’s a small place with a strange vibe and I didn’t really enjoy eating in there.”
“Burger on excellent bread, crispy bread, delicious sauce and extra... unmissable sweet potato friesDon't forget to try itQuiet environment and impeccable serviceVegetarian options: vegan food”
“Absolutely phenomenal! ?Beautiful, original interior - finished with attention to detail. Every corner of the premises is pampered. Great music that makes the meal more enjoyable. Wonderful, caring and smiling staff who look after the guest from the beginning to the end of the visit. The food is delicious, filling, surprising. It was a pleasure meeting you ?”
“Stunning location, view of the large iron bridge over the Douro river, good food as well as drink..... It's a place where, once I enter and find a free table (not a given) I have to go to the cashier to place my order and pay.... Finally go and get what you ordered at the table.”
“Beautiful restaurant and lovely people working there! The food was delicious, the ragu special was perfect and the burrata is so fresh! 100% will come back to Porto just to visit here!”
“Great place to drink good wine, The manager gave us very good advice according to our tastes and desires. Many thanks for taking the time to advise us! And the little extra, the managers are French ??And the boards are to die for!”
“I went to eat Francesinha. The owner and staff are friendly. After trying it, I understand why people like it and dislike it.The spiciness of the sauce can be adjusted. The only downside is that it is less salty because you order the spicy sauce. However, since there is no salt in the French fries that come with it, it neutralizes the saltiness of the Francesinha to some extent. I don't know if it is possible to adjust the saltiness, but if you can, ask for it to be less salty. Do it. I think it will be much more delicious. The food itself is very delicious as long as it is less salty. It can be greasy, so beer or cola is a must. Just one order is enough to complete a meal.”
“Excellent place, so good we went twice on a weekend break. The staff are very friendly which made for a really lovely experience. It gets busy so best to book, but really good quality local food. Highly recommended!”
“Very good food and very good service. The extraction system works poorly, meaning that a half-hour meal will leave your clothes smelling like fried food for the rest of the day.”
“The food was good, so were the drinks. I had their version of a Mojito. It is a bit different than usual without the rough sugar and quite strong but tasty. They also offer mexican sodas and I had the cola.”
“Very good service, friendliness, we felt at home with wonderful treatment, very kind and welcoming.. not to mention that the breakfast was great...I highly recommendI will come back more often”
“sind zufällig dort gelandet. Super freundlicher Empfang. Es war voll und wir saßen an der Bar. Es gab landestypisches Essen und dazu Superbock. Alles war lecker, klare Empfehlung.”
“Exceptionally great cocktails and delicious mocktails! Miguel and Regina know what they are doing! A hidden gem! Going to this bar is a unique experience, make sure not to miss it while visiting Porto! (and if you live there, make it your go-to bar ;))”
“We had a sensational evening with very good service, drinks, food and great music from great artists. Highly Recommended. The hosts are hosts, as you would wish. Thank you for this evening.”
“This place is fantastic, simply lovely ... the food, the music, the service are all wonderful. Thank you so much for a delightful lunch ... hope to see you again soon.Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from, in fact a large part of the menu is veggie with vegan options”
“A very good experience with a beautiful view. Personnel is really passionate about the wine and its story, making it a very personal experience ! Prices of the tastings are very honest too.”
“Best place I’ve tried in Porto! This is definitely on the top 1%. Depth of flavour, innovative ways to adapt local classics. Great service, great wines and cocktails. Can’t wait to come back!”
“I love the Cachacaria bar, the owners teach classes when it comes to cachaça and take pleasure in providing a good atmosphere. I thought the prices would be higher but in fact they are not, I want to come back more often!”
“Lucas was a fantastic host, and provided lots of interesting information during the wine tasting. Would really highly recommend! Definitely worth the €30 it costs”
“Informal environment, amazing cod. We ate two appetizers, cod with lemon sauce and chips and cod chips with parsley mayonnaise. Then we had two plates of cod assado....fantastic, served with potato sheets. All accompanied by an excellent green wine. Best quality.”
“A hidden restaurant, with a modest appearance but surprising in terms of flavor, quantity and service. The recommended Douro white wine was excellent and at a great price. It was perfect for a large group.”
“Great vietnamita food, delicious and tasting as homemade food. I loved it and really recommend. The place is simple but we felt as home. Recommend plate number 17!Parking: It was very easy to find a place to park on street close to the restaurant.”
“We've already tried a few vegetarian restaurants in Europe, but this is and was by far the best we've eaten at so far. Very nice service and great service and fantastic food. We tried a lot of different things at 3 dinners. Starters and main course and desserts.. all fantastic.Good luck and thank you.”
“Without a doubt the best food we have been lucky enough to try so far this year, the place is very cozy, they have a lot of graphic novels and beautiful illustrated books that you can take a look at while you wait for your delicious meal. The potato salad was the perfect starter for what would be a feast. My favorites were the Aji fry and the Sashimi, which melted in your mouth. We also had the best tofu we have ever had, and the key lime pie for dessert was fresh and not too sweet, a real success. We will definitely return whenever we visit Porto!ありがとう ございます ⁎⁺˳✧༚Vegetarian options: They have several delicious vegan and vegetarian options on the menu!”
“Amazing staff, delicious food! Very worth the visit. I feel at home. Vegetarian options: Varied and very tasty options, leaving nothing to be desired, not just a “little way” as seen in many establishments.Dietary restrictions: I don't eat pepper, which is challenging for Korean food. But the wonderful team responded beautifully to my restrictions.”
“Great small restaurant where you can order tap beer and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful scenery especially at night. If you wanna relax, luxuriate, go to this place and I am pretty sure you will be satisfied. Highly recommend!”
“Best beer in town hands down. Brewed on the place of sale, it doesn't get more local than this. Great beer selection, cozy atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable service in multiple languages, and great music on top? My kind of place...”
“Bar sympa avec du monde, couché de soleil sympa. Nous avons pris les patates avec la crème top bonnes. Un régal. La bière est bonne, originale. Rapport qualité prix correct.”
“Superb experience. Very very good dishes and very nice servers. Small downside: the service is very fast. You don't have time to finish your bite as your plate is already removed.”
“Good food, well served and very tasty snacks. Quick service on the terrace and Rafael served us very well. We go oftenVegetarian options: There are generally 2 types of salads as side dishes. However, meat is the main point of the restaurant.”
“A bar in the heart of Porto, with excellent atmosphere and decoration.Ideal for a late afternoon beer. You can also opt for a francesinha or other snacks. To not lose.”
“This restaurant is GREAT!!!! The food is excellent, the ambiance is so cosy to dinner. The staff are attentive. If I had to say only one "negative" thing, it would be the quantity of food which is too little.”
“nice little treat with a great variety of natural wines, some craft beers and a delicious strong expresso. The food was super yummy as well and made with love :) they do sell some clothes too, small handmade creations it seems. Def worth checking out”
“We dropped in for pizza, only to be told you need to book ahead for GF. We did so for 24h later. Super glad we did - possibly the best GF pizza ever, indistinguishable from the regular ones. All three pizzas were super fresh, on a lovely thin crispy base. All the staff were lovely too. Highly recommended.ObrigadoVegetarian options: Plenty and deliciousDietary restrictions: You need to book ahead for GF pizza, but it’s well worth the effortKid-friendliness: Really good, no issues at all”
“I ate at Porto Express twice and they were hands down the most delicious meals I had while in Porto! The food is fresh and flavorful and the staff very kind and friendly. If you want authentic Vietnamese food, look no further!”
“The artistic and impeccable presentation. Very warm attention. The delicious food. The best vegetarian gyosas I've ever had.Vegetarian options: The gyosas and vegetarian spring rolls are highly recommended.”
“Impeccable service, the team knows the menu well and gives excellent recommendations adapted to the customer's taste, well-made cocktails with quality ingredients. Some cocktails are very innovative and unique here, worth trying!”
“Receiving you with a handshake and a big smile, extremely welcoming staff, Rui was amazing and super helpful, add to that an amazing food and a great atmosphere !! 10/10This place is a must if you are passing by Porto”
“With a cozy and friendly atmosphere, super friendly service and the pizzas are simply delicious, I think one of the best I've ever eaten. And I have a long history with pizzerias. ?”
“Healthy food restaurant, with maximum quality and freshness! I loved the main course, soup, dessert, everything was tasty, well prepared and well served. Very attentive and careful service. I will definitely be back, thank you for the experience!”
“Traditional restaurant, fantastic food made by Dona Piedade.Typical Porto tasco frequented by simple and genuine people. Homemade food at prices that no longer exist.I loved it, I will come back and recommend it”

“I was at a conference right next to the restaurant and so I went to have lunch there two days. The 1st day I ordered a grilled turkey breast which was very good and I was served by Mr. Paulo was always in a good mood, but when I needed a favor and he wasn't there I tried to ask a lady who worked next to him but it was in vain, I was simply ignored. On the 2nd day I asked for a breast with garlic sauce which was also very good and thank God I was served once again by him and this time without any unpleasant events.”
“Restaurant has moved and is now in a different location. The seating was great and everything inside was newly decorated. The service and ambience were very good. The food, mixed. We both ate fish and ordered vegetables with it. The vegetables were warmed up frozen vegetables. The fish was okay, but not great”

“Tasty local and traditional dishes with great service.Busy spot so don’t wait after 7-730pm if you don’t want to wait for 1-2 hours.Vegetarian options: They offered limited vegetarian options but it looked good as I did not try them.Parking: In the heart of town, so only paid parking and hard to find as they are full. Great traditional pork dishes and service, shrimp appetizer is a meal by itself and tastes amazing. Roof top and lots of out door seating. Popular spot so arrive no later than 7 pm if you don’t want to wait.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was limited but offered chicken and pork alternatives. Kids will love the fries!!”
“I love going to Nicolau, I feel very comfortable and welcomed. Wonderful staff, spectacular manager and the food, despite always ordering the same, is always good! I'll be back as often as possible!”
“Very good restaurant on the banks of the Douro. The service is fast and efficient. We were upstairs in a jungle atmosphere with a view of the river. The food is good with generous portions. The price, however, is expensive for Portugal but identical to the restaurant in this part of Porto.”
“Discovery of franceshina in the restaurant best known for this specialty. Hearty dish, possible to divide the dish for 2 for less hungry people or children. And ultimately it's rather better than the appearance suggests.”
“My family and I visited the restaurant together. We ordered A LOT OF seafood. All the seafood is so fresh so delicious. We love the seafood rice the most. We ordered TWO times and finished them all. We were planning to go for seafood rice again the day after but we didn’t have enough time unfortunately. The price was very reasonable. The meal cost us less than €110 for five people to have an amazing dinner.Special thanks to Pedro, who is super nice, friendly, interesting and helpful to us. We didn’t speak Portuguese but he helped us to get all the food we wanted. His funny reaction when he realized we were going to order second seafood rice truly made our night!”
“I love the oneest green wherever it is, Porto is no exception! Great food and nice staff:) and most of all I liked that there is another bright hall, like a greenhouse?Top!Come, eat, enjoy ”
“Super cadre pour les premiers soleils chaleureux du mois d’avril. La cuisine est bonne mais ne vous attendez pas à la générosité habituelle des plats portugais . Vous en avez pour votre faim mais pas à l’habitude portugaise. Le cadre est idéal avec vue sur la plage. Petite minute chill pour une ambiance qui vous fait partir loin de la routine . Je recommande”
“Was a very happy because I finally found somewhere that did vegan francesinhas!!Nice food but genuinely the SLOWEST service i think i’ve ever received in all my years on this sweet earth…”
“We were here for breakfast on three days. The service was always very friendly. There was also help choosing what to order. It happened that a lot of customers ordered at the same time. Then there was a note about it (note the waiting time). The prices were reasonable and the quality was always very good.”
“A city centre McDonald's would not normally be my first choice. But this is Portugal and this is the famous Imperial. Plenty of screens to order. Lovely outdoor seating in the shade or sun (the pigeons are permanently hungry) and plenty of seating inside too. A good choice of "healthy" and "unhealthy" options on the menu, I particularly liked the draft Lipton's Peach Tea Zero. Very convenient for São Bento Station.”
“Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. We ate there last night and the place was packed. Reservations are a most. Service was on point. The food portions are meant to share and offer a great combination of flavors. They recommend 3 plates for 2 people, but we order 4. Every plate was perfect. The dulce de leche dessert was also excellent.”
