“What a delightful restaurant. Some of the best food we've had, alongside immaculate service. Highlights were the octopus and the sausage rice, but everything we ate was delicious. Staff, especially the barman, were brilliant and made the whole evening very special. Would absolutely recommend.“

“This is the first restaurant I visited after arriving in Porto for a TV program. It wasn't because it opened at 12:30, but because I didn't have anything to do when I arrived, I decided to get there early, but by 12:13, a Chinese couple had already arrived, and we were the second. And then there were 7 teams behind... I was lucky enough to get a good seat right away as soon as the restaurant opened. (Oh, by the way! It doesn't open at 12:30, but enters around 12:40). There were three of us, and it was Oba who ordered two seafood and octopus rice. There is no need to eat seafood here. The sea bass is really delicious, so be sure to order it. The aperitif bread is also delicious!“

“Informal environment, amazing cod. We ate two appetizers, cod with lemon sauce and chips and cod chips with parsley mayonnaise. Then we had two plates of cod assado....fantastic, served with potato sheets. All accompanied by an excellent green wine. Best quality.“

“It's one of my favorite restaurants with vegan food in Porto. The first time I came, we ordered the Goulash dish and the Feijoca Curry. We became fans and left wondering when we could return. Fortunately the opportunity arose and we tried the Noodles and Moqueca dishes. It didn't disappoint. It's one of the few restaurants where I can say that you can create expectations. The dishes are all super tasty and the atmosphere is incredible, from the interior room to the garden, perfect for a summer dinner. Thankfully not this place!! “Ahhh this was such a wonderful restaurant. It was one of my favorites during our trip! We loved sitting on the patio and basking in the sun. This was one of two restaurants during our time in Portugal where they spoke to me in Portuguese and didn't just switch to English immediately hahah which I appreciated but quickly regretted because my Portuguese was not quite as good as I thought but they were super nice about itAll the food here is SO good. We ordered the bacalhau lascado em crosta de broa (flaked cod in cornbread crust) and bochechas de porco preto confitadas (pork cheek chunks with chestnuts) which came with rice and bread. We got recommendations from our server on what to drink and chose the vinho verde which was lovely.Overall this felt like our most authentic Portuguese dining experience. I enjoyed getting to try to speak Portuguese along with trying food that I had never had before. Would highly recommend grabbing a meal in this hidden gem. It is such a treat!“
