“Those who have not made a reservation are advised to queue up at 10 o'clock before the store opens. There are quite a few seats in the store, but it is a bit crowded; the store staff are very friendly. The bread and olives served at the beginning cost 1.8 euros per dish. The francesina is delicious, but the cheese at the end is a bit salty. I recommend ordering the filet for the steak, which is not too tough. You must order the Sangria for wine. It’s delicious, filling, and photogenic. The toilet is on the first basement floor. Overall, it’s very nice. Nice restaurant ? It is recommended that two people order a vegetable and a glass of wine each and they will be very full!“

With the thought thatI went there after thinking about it a million times. If I hadn't gone, I would have been in big trouble. This is the best restaurant!I didn't make a reservation and went when it opened at 6 o'clock. They said I could eat comfortably until 8 o'clock.1. Pre-dinner bread and welcome sangria (free)2. Rib eye steak, medium rare for 1 person3. Truffle Mash Potato4. A glass of red wine5. Raw chocolate for dessert (free)After eating all of this, it came out to about 49 euros.I don’t remember eating a good steak in Porto.I didn't expect it, but it was the steak of my life.I ate it with mashed potatoes and the seasoning was just right. The staff are all very friendly and I highly recommend it.“

“Torto is the best cocktail bar in Porto !But WARNING: do not go there on your last night in Porto if you have a flight at 6am.The staff is so damn cool, music is a vibe and the drinks are made to perfection that you will think one more can’t hurt.Well… We lost our flight and now have to stay some more days until the next, overall, we blame the coolest bar in Porto for it!See you again later tonight for some more drinks ❤️?“

“If you want craft beer, good vibes and great people, this is where you go in Porto. The owner works the bar and is super knowledgeable and friendly. They had a pop up chef cooking the few nights that I stopped by and the food was amazing. Kudos to the chefs! Other than that this place is a fun friendly environment that beckons you back through good music and excellent beer. Cheers Suzy and Dendy!!! Happy 2nd Birthday BaoBab!!!“

“The very small place in the old part of Porto remains a bit hidden. Cocktails up to a maximum of 16 euros are a little expensive. The cutting boards are ok but the prices are affected by the tourist wave that has touched Portò in recent years. A few euros less wouldn't be bad.“

“Ambiente desenfadado, tanto para parejas, como grupos de amigos como familias. 2 niveles y patio. Servicio excelente. Platos muy contundentes, y materia prima fresca!! El bacalao cocinado al punto perfecto! Cervezas típicas y muy sabrosas, buen porto.Situado a 1 minuto a pie de Praia da Luz, por lo que un paseo antes o despues es buenisimo, con unas puestas de sol insuperables.“

“Great food, although I like the steak with cheese from Serra da Estrela the most, I highly recommend this place, the chocolate mousse and the lemon tart with everything are divine and for those who love a good spicy dish I recommend the starter as they have the patty Diablo is very good.“

“It has one of the best experience in terms of food and spend time in Porto. Recommend a fish from cold menu and two spoons to taste. You will have 5 different foods to taste, plus vine. With dessert it cost for two people ~95Eur. And we would not hesitate to return back because it was totally worth it. The staff is awesome and very friendly. Recommend book a table in advance, because it's really difficult to get the table the same day.“

“Pregar ‘nailed’ it with their Prego no Pão. They were the best we had in Portugal. The thicker cuts of tender, juicy, flavorful meat made all the difference from any other Prego no Pão that we tried. When in Porto, Pregar is a must-try, culinary gem for anyone looking for good quality sandwiches. It was good enough that we went back twice in our one week stay on Porto.“

“Stunning location, view of the large iron bridge over the Douro river, good food as well as drink..... It's a place where, once I enter and find a free table (not a given) I have to go to the cashier to place my order and pay.... Finally go and get what you ordered at the table.“

“A nice place, with some really nice beers inthe fridges. It was one of the adresses which was recommended to me while visiting Porto (by at least 3 people, including locals). In the end, my biggest regret is to leave the city before having the occasion to drink more beers there !“

“Curioso is very close to the Douro river, behind that big red music hall, Hard Club. I was hoping this bar would have weird & creative drink options and I wasn't disappointed. We loved this place! Intimate setting, many small tables, cool decor/vibes, decent prices for handcrafted & complicated drinks. Definitely recommend ?“

“Very good address, I recommend with my eyes closed! Delicious cuisine, well presented dishes, top service.Little extra: the managers speak French to help us understand the menu. The already existing rating of 4.9/5 is well deserved. THANKS ! We had a blast!“

“We live in Mexico and were craving some tacos. The tacos were pretty good. They weren't completely Mexican. They were close, but missing some bold flavors. The Cochinita Pibil was not close (we live in the Yucatan). The carnitas were very good as was the steak. The Governador was OK, vampire was not because the tortilla was like old crunchy. The food seemed reheated. The salsas were not spicy. The spicy macha one wasn't flavorful and not sure why it's labeled that. It's nothing like the real one. This place is good for cheap, quick tacos, that is still better than most of the other food.“

“We ordered for starters the beetroot, the cured duck and the beef fried balls, the cured duck was very good, not chewy at all. The octopus dish was really tender with some vegetable tempura and salad vinaigrette. The beef tartare came with little puff toastadas, it had a bit too much mustard. The steak was pretty tender and the side of fries was amazing! For dessert we had the chocolate mousse with ice cream vanilla and the other fruity dessert with persimmons. Both were really good. We had the mojito tropical and the new fashion both pretty sweet.“

“One of my favorite places in Porto! The service is excellent, as well as the food and drinks. There is an unexpected and delightful variety of Belgian beers on draft. My husband enjoyed his St. Bernard and I enjoyed my espumante (sparkling wine). For food, we had the cheese and meat board...unbelievably delicious variety and beyond reasonably priced at 14€! Then, we devoured the T-bone steak - succulent and grilled to perfection! I would return here in a heartbeat!“

“We dropped in for pizza, only to be told you need to book ahead for GF. We did so for 24h later. Super glad we did - possibly the best GF pizza ever, indistinguishable from the regular ones. All three pizzas were super fresh, on a lovely thin crispy base. All the staff were lovely too. Highly recommended.ObrigadoVegetarian options: Plenty and deliciousDietary restrictions: You need to book ahead for GF pizza, but it’s well worth the effortKid-friendliness: Really good, no issues at all“
“One of the best bars in Porto. We had the tasting which I would highly recommend. We tried different types of cachaca and learned about the whole making process. The caipirinha we had there was best in Porto, especially the speciality one with coffee. Highly recommend!!!“

“Such a great place to drink, eat and relax. I honestly ate the best chicken burger ever. This beats FOWL fallow bros and half the price. The rusk has peanut, corn & honey ? unbelievably good! I’m tripping on this chicken! Add the potatas & garlic cheese sauce and an IPA ? ? .. 11/10“

“Very good service, super attentive waitresses.Simple food, very, very economical and very good!!Family atmosphere, gangs of friends, dates...Without a doubt, a bar with a bottle at 0.70 and a third at 1.20 leaves Porto if visiting this bar is a mistake.“

“This was one of my favorite dinners in all of Portugal. We were one of the first ones there at 7:30 and the place was completely full by 8:00 so I would make reservations well in advanced. The batatas brava were fairly standard by well executed. The duck in puff pastry was like a duck eggroll and was absolutely delicious. The codfish risotto was very good. Lastly the stuffed Portobello mushroom with apples sounded a little weird but was absolutely delicious. The is live music there daily. I don't know if they do Fado but the guitarist played contemporary tunes which I preferred. You should try Fado once but I find the music depressing.“
“All opinions here are personal, therefore... Great bar, excellent place with good people, great service. It's worth experiencing. Remembering that it is a bar and sometimes crowded, things can sometimes take a while, but it is worth the experience.“

“Beautiful place with a really nice, odd type of decor. Very handy, in the center of Porto.I ordered a Home Paloma and was very disappointed because the drink was VERY sour, granted it's a cocktail with grapefruit but still, very overpowering. That could just be my taste though.Price is a little high for what you get but given the location, it's understandable.“

“Typical local café/bar where locals come to have a traditional snack or beer, with a great view over the river. The menu is a bit tapas'ish, in terms of you can order many small things, and is all great.Try the cabbage soup, cod sandwich, a bifana, or a plate of Rocket dish (super tender pork), but you'll be pleasantly surprised with all, and the prices are very reasonable. 4 of us tried the whole menu for about 40 euros, including beer.Unfortunately, they don't do Fado anymore on Tuesdays. If you want to eat, you'll have to be early as the kitchen sells out quickly, think 16-17:00, not much later.“

“I discovered this place thanks to a video app, and I am extremely grateful. It is hidden, but it is worth going up the stairs… the view from the terrace is exceptional. And I enjoyed one of the best sunsets in Porto, along with a good wine, and good music. It is worth highlighting the attention of its staff. Thank you so much!“

“Excellent bar/restaurant not far from the Douro river. It has a small outdoor space where you can eat and two small internal rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. It offers a good choice of dishes, both meat, fish and vegetarian. Generous portions and cheap prices. Good quality of the dishes. We ate cod brasa, cod meatballs and cod rice. The espresso coffee is excellent (Lavazza).“

“I'm not even one to make comments on Google! 77 is a house that I frequent and recommend to many people who pass by me on a daily basis.I've been visiting this house for over 15 years and sharing good times and laugh-out-loud stories with my friends.Today I was sad because prices increased again and the great bifana menu no longer existed..The employees are impeccable and the owners + family are very good people, nothing to say.The question I ask myself is why the price increase. Whether it's to compete with other establishments, whether it's to improve the living conditions of employees, or whether it's increased your income...Your house is excellent, don't lose your mystiqueI'm there tomorrowBest house in Porto!“

“Great street food at a very reasonable price! Try their version of a hotdog, amazing and flavourful. Small portion so you may want to order two. You could share one serving of fries between two people.Limited seating, so a late night snack will have you waiting in line for a hour. We went late afternoon and didn’t wait at all. Well worth the visit!Parking: There was no local parking, so walking best alternative to getting to restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one floor and tables accommodate wheel chairs.“

“We stopped by Lado B as our last meal in Porto and it was lovely! I found this place because I wanted to try a francesinha and Lado B kept popping up on lists of the best ones and it didn't disappoint. We also ordered a plate of fries and the cachorrinho. Everything was great and the prices were reasonable. We went during a lull time since we had an early train and it was nice and quiet. The restaurant itself was very clean and modern“

“One of the best places I went in Porto! It's a small, local place, but the staff were super friendly to us as foreigners. The food (cheese/meat boards especially) was fantastic, but the cocktail/shots menu was extraordinary. Seriously one of the best drink menus I've seen, and at a great price. The menu and interior were music-themed too, which was really cute. Will definitely be back next time I am in Porto!“
“"A little restaurant where you eat like at grandma's" ... that's how it was sold to me! In short, a small place with a family kitchen and which deserves to be known! We are not going to lie to each other but with our requirements of Westerners or Parisian bobo, we would not have gone there! And it is a mistake because in addition to a very low price as well as generous and good dishes, the service was available and pleasant! And on the atmosphere, I loved it, a room in its own juice that reminded me of when I went to see my grandma... change of scenery guaranteed! In short, it's good, it's not expensive and you're sure to eat like locals! Far from sanitized atmospheres, if you want authenticity, it's here!“

“A unique and preferred space in the city of Porto! In addition to having the best puppy and the best nail in the city, they have something else that sets them apart and distinguishes them from all other spaces in the city: the service!
