“Porto Weekend 10/08/24: what a great bar! Lots of craft beer/craft ale choice, both on tap and bottles & cans in the fridge. Very friendly, knowledgeable service, which came with recommendations for an amber/red ale request. We had the Fermentage Brewery: Underrated Steps Czech amber lager 5%, Hoppy Road x Totenhopfen Brewery: Kharon Verbena red currant sour 6.4% and White Dog Brewery: chocolate imperial pastry stout 10.5%“

“Super friendly staff, Caio and Andressa, wonderful food, the first time I ate francesinha and I don't want to try it anywhere else, the chocolate ice cream with pistachio dessert was the best I've ever had in my life! Very good, I highly recommend it.“

“This place has one of the best views of Porto. You can see the Ponte Luis I bridge, and the cable car runs right next to it—it’s a perfect place to take photos. My favorite person and I ordered a jar of sangria, and although it was a premade drink, I thought it tasted great. The space and layout were well used, and the decor and setup were charming. I would definitely go back here at night for a drink again.“

“Superbe bar à whisky. Eddie est un passionné de whisky et je le remercie pour toutes ses explications et le temps qu'il nous a accordé.
Très large choix de whisky pour tous les goûts avec notamment des produits d'exceptions. Heureusement qu'il existe encore des endroits comme celui là tenu par des passionnés pour nous faire passer de belles soirées.
Je recommande plus que vivement.
Merci pour tout Eddie.“

“One of the most memorable experiences I have had in a restaurant, in any country. The server was super nice and very patient with us. The food and other dishes were excellent. We had a full menu in a quiet and pretty setting, even late in the afternoon. For everything we had, the menu only cost us €10. A very nice experience. We even got bread, and my sister asked for coffee, which was not charged extra.“

“On August 6 we met the restaurant Brasão Aliados, it was our first time there, we arrived at the restaurant without having reserved, they welcomed us directly with a smile and accompanied us to our table.
We ordered 2 cocktails as well as 2 drinks, 2 francesinhas, a portion of fries and starters. It came to us at €59, it wasn't expensive at all and the wait wasn't long.
The waiter Augusto was very cheerful and pleasant, we felt very professional on his part with a desire to do his job well. A very good person, thank you for serving us so well and for your kindness.
We had a great time in the restaurant.
We will not hesitate to come back, 100% recommended place.“

“This store is a solid 10/10! The food is great, as is the service. We ordered a burger without onions, got one with it, it was no problem at all when we asked the boss about it. He took care of it straight away and got a new one
Have burgers made. Afterwards there was dessert on the house! Thank you for this great experience“

“The cod bolinho and the pork risol (croquettes) are highly recommended, quite large and filling. We also tried the puppy (little dog) and the tower of garlic prawns, with a very good sauce for dipping bread.
Evellin treated us with great kindness and sympathy, thank you very much for everything.“

“Small tapas bar that I recommend. Too bad it's not very visible, the welcome is excellent. We were there twice in the evening, fast service. Franscesina, chorizo, risois, white sangria, like red everything is excellent and cheaper than elsewhere.“

“Espaço 77 is my favorite haunt for coxinha and a cold beer. I’ve tried other salgados there - not bad, but nothing beats that big coxinha. Last time, they even served me a shot that went down in flames - literally ??
The atmosphere? Lively and loud, just how I like it. The staff? Friendly and funny. And the cost? No need to stress, it’s budget-friendly. ?“

“What a beautiful address! Careful decoration and furniture, both warm and sober, special mention for the covered terrace at the back. A perfect Brazilian soundtrack. Warm and attentive staff and welcome. And finally a cuisine that revisits classics with delicacy and freshness. The portions of the main dishes are VERY generous, and the final value for money is excellent. In short, enjoy!“

“It was well worth diverting my trip just to have lunch here as I would say it's the best restaurant I've been to in Porto. The service and location are impeccable but what shines is the food, as it should be. We ate croquette, carrot, beetroot and tartar and everything was surprising, delicious, subtle with each flavor just right, and that is a mastery that few achieve.“

“Obsessed!! It's amazing. Hands down my favorite bar is Portugal!! ? Fernando, Pedro and the whole crew working with him tonight went above and beyond to show us and teach us about anything and everything possible while this place is maxed capacity!!! “Originally we went to Brasão Aliados, but we didn't have a reservation and it was full. However Brasão arranged for us to have a driver, Sérgio, to transport us to Brasão Antas. Sérgio was amazing, very friendly and attentive. We got a spot on the second-floor terrace, which was nice for a summer evening. We all had Francesinha which is a classic of Brasão, and I highly recommend. After our meal, Sérgio was ready to take us back to Aliados.
I can definitely recommend trying out Brasão (any of them) for a good meal with friends in a chill atmosphere.“

“Local experience with a Portuguese neighborhood vibe. Here, no English or French so ordering is risky but everything is very good and at a low price, 33 cl beer at €1.2 a pleasure. Dish of the day and sardines as well as very good local donuts“

“Stumbled on this place. Wow! Authentic and ridiculous value for money. There's a meal here called Rocket dish. Thought it would be a salad. Turned out to be the best pork dish money can buy at €3. Bar man is a legend too. Didn't stop and gave us top advice on each dish.“

“4.4/5*
The francesinhas had a thick and tender sirloin steak inside, being cooked nicely rare. They also had the expected ham and chorizo, both being smokey, salty and fatty. The cheese on top was thick and bold in flavour, like an aged cheddar. These francesinhas differ from others as they possess thicker ingredients. They paired gorgeously with the iconic, rich, spicy-tomato, beer-port wine- francesinhas sauce, which was done in a dominant-tomato-savoury style. We don’t particularly prefer this version of the sauce over the usual tangy, more beer-port influenced sauces. The bread utilised in these francesinhas was fresh and circular with a slight crust and soft interior.
The prego sandwiches, too, utilised rare sirloin steaks which were generous in their thickness. The bread used was fluffy, soft and fresh. The sauce on the sandwich had a beautiful garlic-mustard flavour, which further accentuated the beautiful flavour in the rarity of the steak.
The bacalhau cappachio was amazing, fresh and full of salty yet fresh-cod flavour. Paired with parsley, onion and a very light vinegar, the delicate flavour of bacalhau was perfectly presented to the palate.
The wrapped Zucchini-smoked salmon and ricotta was a very unique entree. The smoked salmon took the lead with its beautifully fresh, melting and of course, Smokey taste. The soft zucchini wrapped around the piece, presented itself as a teaser for the softer and creamy ricotta on the interior.“

“I discovered this place thanks to a video app, and I am extremely grateful. It is hidden, but it is worth going up the stairs… the view from the terrace is exceptional. And I enjoyed one of the best sunsets in Porto, along with a good wine, and good music. It is worth highlighting the attention of its staff. Thank you so much!“

“Local in the center of Porto, near the "Torre dos Clérigos". Quite a busy place. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
We ordered "just a salad" and some oysters to start, they were good but nothing special. The fish tiradito, quite good and fresh. The eel, very good, but it's just one bite. The preguinho had very tender meat. The desserts were correct.
In short, it was a little expensive, but recommended.“
“All opinions here are personal, therefore... Great bar, excellent place with good people, great service. It's worth experiencing. Remembering that it is a bar and sometimes crowded, things can sometimes take a while, but it is worth the experience.“

“Wow, we had a great breakfast there today. The restaurant is located on a not-so-busy street and that's what's really nice. The interior is harmonious, there was a little jazz playing in the background and the atmosphere was great for our breakfast. The service was very nice and the breakfast was rich and very tasty.
There's no outside area, but that's not a bad thing. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation!“

“Beautiful place in an alleyway on the stairs in Porto. Food was very good and the servers were very friendly. We did have to be active in catching the attention of the two waiters (more than we like to) but it was busy (at no time there was an empty table) and it was obvious that they were working as fast as they could. There was constantly a line of people waiting to be seated and this is no surprise as it is a very nice place to eat. If you are planning on visiting Porto I highly recommend eating here. Even if you have to wait for a couple of minutes to be seated.“

“Went there with a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children (5;4;2;2) were warmly welcomed and had the feeling of being welcome the whole time!!! Although it was a little louder or chaotic at times. The food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was right!
Thank you for the lovely stay“

“This is one of those places where you walk in and instantly feel the energy - it’s relaxed, welcoming and friendly! The food was delicious and arrived fast. I chose 3 tapas dishes, and there was a good selection of gluten-free items clearly marked for me to choose from. The portions were bigger than expected! As I went alone, I left totally full and satisfied, all for only around €15. (Excellent English spoken by the staff too) Updated from previous review on 2025-12-31“

“Very accepting and welcoming and an absolute vibe. I don’t have much need to say how wonderful this bar is the space is a little cramped but I still enjoyed it very much. If you’re looking for a fun time with fun people and happy legends this is the right spot. Drinks are not too expensive but they are a little higher than usual. But you pay for what want. They had drag queens come in and liven up the party. I had a Porto tonic for the first time. It was ok not the most amazing drink I’ve ever had honestly. But it was worth a try.“

“Great bar with an excellent selection of beers on tap, bottle and can. Knowledgeable staff that can help you out, especially the lovely Ukrainian.
Lovely friendly atmosphere. A place which encourages conversation and had locals and tourists alike.
Small seating area outside.
Piano and guitar available for those that might like to dabble. Bar snacks also .. didn't get round to trying them though.
Visited a couple of times.. recommend it if you enjoy a good beer.“

“Located in one of the city's most trendy neighborhoods - Bonfim - Dona Mira reflects the city's climate of diversity and cultural effervescence. This can be seen as soon as you enter the bar, with the exhibition of photographs of the bar's owners interacting with some of the most important musicians in Brazil. The tribute makes perfect sense since both Carlos and Valéria are renowned producers and singers, respectively.
Here you can find both the comfort to read while drinking a coffee on a rainy afternoon, and the space to share a good wine and some snacks while chatting with friends. At the back of the café there is a terrace where you can make the most of the longest and softest days of the year and, in addition, there is a library. If you didn't bring your book with you to enjoy the moment, no problem, Dona Mira has a library of books to borrow and, even better, there is a small bookstore full of Brazilian editions that are not always easy to find here in Portugal.“

“Curious place due to its location (similar to an industrial warehouse) and decoration (classic). We did not eat. As a cocktail, quite normal, nothing out of this world. Peculiar. They should solve a certain problem with the ventilation because sometimes a sewer or similar smell came through the air.“

“Wow! What a surprising place discovered by chance! We went there to taste the beers, and while looking for a table inside, we discovered this magnificent outdoor terrace behind, with the sun setting over the houses. A beautiful view! And while looking for the toilets, another terrace in the basement, more lively this one! The Cannabis Punch beer was an unusual color, but very good!
The bites we tried were enough for us, we would have tasted the hot dog, but the server was very busy and the hunger passed. But all the dishes that were served around were appetizing. ?“
“The Texan atmosphere is perfect. We met the owners briefly while exploring the city. Then the bar opened up to me and I had to take a look. We started talking and the owner told us that he lived in Germany (we come from there) and of course the sympathy increased a bit. We promised we would come back. Later in the evening there was a 4th of July party (Independence day). When we arrived there we were warmly welcomed and not only that, there was also wonderful live music and the service was great. I would recommend everyone to visit the bar's Instagram account where you can get a better impression of the performances and the ambience. If we visit Porto again we will definitely come back.“

“A pleasant little restaurant with homemade food. The portions are very generous, starting with the delicious soup, after which I could hardly eat anything else. The main meal, also delicious, with salad - one portion is enough for two people.
The oft-mentioned criticism about charging for bread and butter should be clarified. In many restaurants, in addition to the order, they will bring you a couver-le couvert, so that, if the guest is really hungry, they can satisfy their hunger until the order is brought.
If you politely refuse at the beginning, the envelope will be removed from the table, if you do not, you will be charged even if it is not opened.“

“I am staying in a hostel nearby. I passed by this local bar by chance on a Friday night. I went in for some quick bites and some beers. The bifana and chicken wings were deliciously and completely blew my expectations away. The server was sweet, and the owner was amazing. He was in the bar socializing the whole night. He offered some treats and constantly checked up on everyone. The bar got packed with locals later in the evening, and the atmosphere was incredible.“

“It is located on a street with a great atmosphere, they serve you with kindness, but I didn't think the food was very good. The cod croquettes were X and the puppy, which is a smaller Frenchie, is normal. What I did love was the Portotonic.“
“"A little restaurant where you eat like at grandma's" ... that's how it was sold to me! In short, a small place with a family kitchen and which deserves to be known! We are not going to lie to each other but with our requirements of Westerners or Parisian bobo, we would not have gone there! And it is a mistake because in addition to a very low price as well as generous and good dishes, the service was available and pleasant! And on the atmosphere, I loved it, a room in its own juice that reminded me of when I went to see my grandma... change of scenery guaranteed! In short, it's good, it's not expensive and you're sure to eat like locals! Far from sanitized atmospheres, if you want authenticity, it's here!“
“Fun student bar next to the park. Cheap and strong drinks, made with fresh ingredients. That said, the Captain that they used for the mojito was definitely NOT Captain Morgan. Clearly a cheap substitute and made the drink taste more like a Caipirinha. Good thing I love caipirinhas!“
“The Saloon is the best bar!
A special service with people who are marked forever. In addition to the space being super pleasant, they always have ways of capturing people. Whether with the spaces dedicated to them, or with the various gifts.
The food, especially the burger, is the best there is.

“Traditional tavern or bar, noisy and with atmosphere, with attentive, fast, friendly and professional waiters who know what they are doing. Of the food, highlight their specialty, the cachorrinhos', they are addictive with their spicy touch and their combination of ingredients. A simple dish that doesn't need anything else! We didn't like the 'francesihna' sauce as much, it could have been spicier and with a lighter flavor, it seemed a little artificial to me. If the fries were homemade, they would be perfect to accompany the 'cachorrinhos'. We waited half an hour for dinner but it was worth it. Don't forget to try them if you have the opportunity.“
