“Cool spot, although you would never know it from the street. Upstairs is a small bar, but the best part is downstairs where there is another bar in an incredibly large outdoor patio. The process is a bit strange if you want to go downstairs or outside as they give you each a card that you have to scan each time you drink and then bring it back upstairs at the end to pay on your way out. There’s not a waiter that comes to you, you need to head up to the bar with your card to get your beer. The beers were interesting, we didn’t try anything that was Letra, just the guest taps.“

“If you want craft beer, good vibes and great people, this is where you go in Porto. The owner works the bar and is super knowledgeable and friendly. They had a pop up chef cooking the few nights that I stopped by and the food was amazing. Kudos to the chefs! Other than that this place is a fun friendly environment that beckons you back through good music and excellent beer. Cheers Suzy and Dendy!!! Happy 2nd Birthday BaoBab!!!“

“One of the best sandwiches and salads I have ever had. The staff was very friendly and incredibly accommodating. We went as a group of 5, which is a little big for the size of the restaurant, but the staff was very kind and made it work. We were all raving about the food so much that we went back again ordered sandwiches to go to take on the train the next day. All of the sandwiches were great, but our favorite was the sardine sandwich. Also, don’t miss out on the salad either. It’s quite possibly the best salad any of us had in very hard. Lastly, it’s cash only, so make sure to bring some Euros. Highly recommend.“

“Such a great place to drink, eat and relax. I honestly ate the best chicken burger ever. This beats FOWL fallow bros and half the price. The rusk has peanut, corn & honey ? unbelievably good! I’m tripping on this chicken! Add the potatas & garlic cheese sauce and an IPA ? ? .. 11/10“

“Request the tasting first to try 4 varieties per racket on your own menu.Close and informative staff about the product. The food was very good, we tried the cachorrinho and it was fantastic but we didn't take a photo.Different and recommended“
“Something a little different! A must for Cider and Real Ale drinkers who like to eat meat!!! Don’t be deceived by the exterior of the restaurant it’s ambient and full of amazing props and memorabilia. Michael the host is spot on in al aspects of his business, attention to detail and a niche theme have placed him right up there in almost 1900 restaurants in Porto. The food is a Tapas based meat extravaganza, Wild Boar, Venison and Steak feature highly on the menu, if you’re a veggie this ain’t the place for you! Based around a Celtic theme with a cross between heavy metal and folk music but don’t let the music put you off! 100/100 for an enjoyable evening! Top Tips….. don’t order too many platers! They’re very filling ?“
