“I recently visited O Diplomata and had an amazing experience. The pancakes were fluffy, golden brown, and delicious. The cozy, modern atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. Overall, it was a delightful visit, and I’ll definitely be returning soon.“

“Absolutely blown away! My wife and I are vegetarians, and we’re so happy to have had dinner here. Everyone was so friendly, and we got to try traditional Portuguese dishes that we would have never tried otherwise. A must visit for anyone traveling to Porto!!“

“Super kind staff. Dog friendly (even with a grumpy old chihuahua). The bao starter was simply yum! Yhe chimichurri steak was a bit oily and the plate was huge (coleslaw👌), but it was a decent meal in a very cosy and quiet atmosphere when we arrived. Thank you!“

“Desde a amabilidade da funcionária que nos atendeu, aos preços acessíveis e a comida rica em sabor, ficámos fãs! Pedimos dois pratos de Seitanas com batata frita e as doses eram muito bem servidas, a batata caseira e deliciosa, as seitanas suculentas e o molho cheio de sabor! O pastel de natal nem se nota diferença de um não Vegano e ainda trouxe um salame de chocolate para o lanche. Pena não terem um espaço em Lisboa!“

“A lovely small bar with a fully vegan menu, passionate and super helpful staff, great beer and tasty food. After a full day of walking around Porto and soaking in the river, markets, independent shops and the general culture we had worked up an appetite. We had Apuro on the list of “should try”, and it should have been on the list”must try” list, we saw we could take a slight detour on our way back to the hotel so gave it a try. It feels like a relaxed, but upmarket bar with a bit of an urban edge. The spirits are really well stocked, and beer options a plenty, there’s also a few bar snacks and pastel de nata on the bar, and the open kitchen is within the bar section. We opted for schnitzel sandwich, fries, cauliflower wings, lazy burrito and drumstick (more like a bomba/filled croquet). They were all fantastic, big servings and washed down with a lovely APA & IPA. The menu is scannable by a funky QR code button for sustainability, and available in Portuguese and English. We git a pastel de nata each to takeaway, and they were great!“

“Tiny things aside (e.g. the bread was not fresh on a sunday) it was a very pleasant experience. Beautiful selection of wines and excellent cocktails. From a simple Negroni to the Smash Basil, Raw Passionfruit, Expresso Curado or No almond Jamie (my favourite) they were all lovely and very well made. We spent more on the drinks than on the food :)“

“We had such a great experience, food was amazing and such surprising combinations in terms of flavour and textures/cooking techniques. We loved the atmosphere in the restaurant, very calm and relaxed and the staff really matched this vibe. We loved that there was actually time to have a chat and talk about the food etc. All in all, lovely experience, we are sad that we do not live closer so we could come back every few months to try each seasonal menu.“
“A great stall tucked in the market. Sold onigiri, fruit bars, salad and some hot snacks when I went. I tried the aubergine onigiri and baked sweet potato with cinnamon. Both were excellent and the stall owners were super friendly and helpful!“

“Porto doesn't have anywhere near the amount of plant-based/vegan restaurants/eateries that Lisbon does; however, daTerra came highly recommended and was a close less-than-10-minute walk from our apartment on the Ribeira, and their buffet offered us a good amount of choices all being 100% vegan. (And, too, the prices were cheap--can't complain about that!) Apparently, the buffet changes daily, so for our 3-night stay in Porto, we popped into daTerra twice (once for lunch; once for dinner). The staff on both occasions were simply terrific--a great group of people! For me, let's say two-thirds of the buffet was YUM; one-third was not to my liking. But, hey, that's a buffet for you: somethings are hits; something are misses--that's why you've got a large variety of food stuffs to choose from. Wines and beers were extra, but food and drinks are so cheap in Portugal that it didn't matter. The fancy desserts were extra, as well; but, again, who cares if it tastes great and is reasonably priced! In sum: daTerra's food rates a very solid 4-star rating from me, and I give it an extra star for the friendly service.“

“This project deserves all our esteem and consideration. We should really support the cause and pay a visit and why not a possible adoption. The environment is so peaceful, there is peace in the air, the kittens are happy (at least they have affection and food always available. They will be happier after being adopted). The food is divine, the service is extremely friendly and dedicated. I wanted to repeat this experience over and over again. Be aware that it gets busy on the weekends. You may need to wait for a table. But for everything, really everything, it's worth it! I'm sorry I can't give you more stars, because you deserve infinite ones.“
“Happened on this place as we wandered Bordeaux and were happy that we did. The pizza was very good and the dessert pizza went down particularly well! Only gripe was a personal opinion, that the Tiramisu was a little bland, I would have liked more marsala wine in it. Service was good.“

“Wow, we had a great breakfast there today. The restaurant is located on a not-so-busy street and that's what's really nice. The interior is harmonious, there was a little jazz playing in the background and the atmosphere was great for our breakfast. The service was very nice and the breakfast was rich and very tasty.
There's no outside area, but that's not a bad thing. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation!“

“Note there are 2 sister Nola Kitchens cafes. Wide selection of healthy desserts and beverages I was mega impressed by the vegan dessert options - labelled as PB on menu. Using quality ingredients is clearly their mission and good to find adaptogenic drinks here too. Theres a few light bites but not a substantial food menu. I'll definitely be back, especially as its open everyday until 11pm!“

“Visited this restaurant because of the distance from our accommodation.
Service was very friendly & pizza tasted good.
Upon arrival we were immediately served a small appetizer (without asking beforehand) (see photo); which of course we were billed for.
The outdoor area was nice, but if it had been full it would have been very restless.
It is also exposed to strong winds despite the wind protection being installed.
• It would be nice if the menu still had VEGAN dishes to choose from :)
Conclusion: Local is recommended! ?“

“Interesting restaurant in Porto, nice place, quite large.
Very delicious Francesinha, mounted sirloin with mountain cheese also very good, high quality meat. The “Chocolate Mountain” dessert is good, I had already tried the same type of cake in Madrid (The Best Chocolate Cake in the World pastry shop, in front of El Retiro)
The only “but” I have is that the waiters are very dry, but otherwise it is a recommendable place“

“Good Italian restaurant to eat in the city. The food is spectacular and the service is also good. I ordered the egg calzone and it was incredible, as well as being quite large. Very friendly and attentive service at all times. The place is quite quiet and located in the center. 100% recommended.“

“Excellent service, good music and extremely well located.
Regarding the food, it was really surprising, the fantastic combinations they make.
I suggest asking the staff what to choose because they got it right for me!
Without a doubt, it does justice to their excellent reputation, being considered a must-have to visit in the city by the Portuguese!
There is no equal, they make a difference, I will definitely come back!
Thank you Zenith ?“
