Taberna Rio Restaurante Reviews
We ate cod fritters and baked knuckle, very good. Good service and very good views
Just went for drinks. We ordered a white sangria and got a red one. The waiter took it back right away and changed it. (Mistakes can happen)!
Once we had the right order it was really good!!
I've Never really enjoyed baos. This place changed my mind

Taberna Rio Restaurante is a nicely situated restaurant overlooking the D Luís Bridge in Porto. It offers a friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. The menu includes tasty dishes such as flames shrimp, cod fritters, and seafood rice. The sangria is light and refreshing. Prices are on the higher end, but the location and food quality justify it.
The restaurant is situated in a prime location right along the river, making it the perfect spot to sit back, relax outside, and people-watch while enjoying a good meal. Customers have praised the Arroz de Marisco (Seafood Rice) as truly delicious, although some have noted the presence of small pieces of shells in the dish. The complementary couvert (bread, olives, butter, and sardines) is also well-received.
In addition to the traditional Portuguese offerings, the restaurant also serves some Japanese-inspired dishes, such as bao and shrimp hotdog, which have been highly praised for their taste and presentation.
