“This family- run restaurant is a find and I wish I lived in Porto for it to become my local. Amazing food and friendly, homely atmosphere. It is so nice to see a restaurant run with so much love and dedication. Lovely African crafts as well! Thank you for the amazing experience.

“The chef/owner was as warm, colorful and welcoming as her delicious food. She came and explained the menu and recommended a delicious bottle of red wine that paired beautifully with our food. You have to stop by and eat here while in Porto, to miss out on this delicious African cuisine is to do yourself a disservice. The food is such a purposeful blend of textures, spices, and flavors that will leave you mesmerized. 10/10.“
“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the shrimp with curry and the cake with cinnamon and plum. The house wine was a perfect compliment to the food. So delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is cozy and inviting. Reserving a table would be best.“

“It's a secret;-) Mr. Carlos is a restoration genius and, now with Mane, his daughter, they make a wonderful duo.
Veal rice, hake rice with shrimp and coriander, black pork secretions or chicken muamba... you name it. There is no chance of failure.
As for desserts, I would say: chocolate mousse cake or sericaia...among many others.
Visiting regularly ;-)
