We got the Niclau Toast (avocado toast) which was okay but nothing special. Then we also had the flower power bowl which i thought was quite good but again nothing exceptional.
Everything vegan was clearly labelled with “VE” on the menu.
We wouldn’t necessarily come back for the food since there are just very few vegan options. But we did come back for the very delicious chai lattes. Unfortunately you pay extra for plant milk.

Nicolau Porto is a welcoming restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, featuring background music and a convenient location near the Aliados metro station. The staff, although sometimes overwhelmed by the high volume of customers, provide good service. The menu offers a variety of delicious options at reasonable prices, including popular dishes like eggs Florentine, pancakes, and the banoffe lovers pancakes. Recent reviews highlight the presence of many plant-based options, such as a fresh fruit bowl, acai, bagels, and comfort bowls. Many vegan options are clearly labeled with “VE” on the menu. While some customers have noted the limited number of vegan breakfast choices, others appreciate the tasty dishes and friendly staff. The Flower Power Bowl and vegan curry have received positive mentions, making it a great spot for breakfast and lunch in Porto. The cozy atmosphere and delicious chai lattes also attract customers, though extra charges for plant milk have been noted.
