ODE Porto Wine House Reviews
Very good delicious food, traditional reviewed local food, for us was the best dishes we had during our stay in Porto❤️
We had a wonderful dinner with 4 different dishes - all was very delicious, very sophisticated, highly recommended, booking is essential
We had a dinner in Ode, and the experience was fantastic, and very unique.
To enter, you have to use a knocker to be allowed inside, and when seated, you are greeted with a welcome letter, which is very interesting, and not seen in any places that I have visited.
The interior is also very nice, with little lighting, and just stone and wood, making a very simple style.

ODE Porto Wine House is an exceptional place where food, ambiance, and staff come together to provide a unique experience. The owner, a sommelier, is passionate about wine and offers a warm and knowledgeable approach to wine tasting. The restaurant serves fantastic food, including a standout octopus dish, and offers a great wine list with a large variety to choose from. The interior features simple stone and wood decor, creating a cozy atmosphere with little lighting. The building is over 300 years old, adding to its charm.
Guests often describe the experience as very special and unique. The staff are extremely friendly, greeting visitors, explaining food options, checking for allergens, and offering personalized wine recommendations. The menu is quite small but each dish is carefully prepared, with tender meat and octopus, and surprising options like broccoli and almonds. The chickpeas made with bacon and the octopus are highly praised. The wine collection is very well stocked, making it a great place for wine lovers.
Although the prices are high, many say it is a place worth visiting for both the outstanding food and memorable experience. Visitors often mention that it is a peaceful and friendly spot in the busy part of Porto, perfect for a fine dining experience. Booking a reservation is recommended, and trying the dessert "My Mother's Pudding" can provide a very memorable finish to the meal.
