Truly bizarre -- buying bacalhau while the organ player plays on! We were a bit tired from the nearby Porto tasting and heard the garish organ recital and looked in to see what was going on. It's a fixed-price event ... pay the cashier and get a deep-fried bacalhau and a glass of wine, and then climb the stairs to find a bench seat with a small table, and listen to the organ recital. The throughput there is amazing ... there were hundreds of people coming through the doors on a rolling basis, and that's a lot of fish balls to be served! The food was palatable -- certainly not a gourmet experience, but that's OK -- and the organ played on!
They don't know how to make a drink, and they are very rude.The beer is still. Horrible!

The absolute worst experience we have had in many a journey. Not only was the food and drink 'experience' ridiculously overpricedat 30 Euro for 2 serves, it was tasteless mush served with a very average white port. The picture of the cod ball oozing cheese on the outside of the establishment is a complete lie. Trust me, do not waste your money, go somewhere else. So many places, so much cheaper and so much better. You have been warned.

We walked in by chance as we saw this unusual place. We were mesmerised by the place it's a mix of Harry Potter and Mad Hatter. We ordered the codfish coquettes and the most delicious white port. Walked up one of the two stair cases in awe of what we saw. Found a seat up stairs and were delighted with a mini solo piano concert. The port divine the cod fish delectable the atmosphere sublime. We loved our time there and only left as we had to get to a tour. Thank you for a lovely few hours.
