Place far from the center that if it weren't for the new constructions in the area would scare Jack the Ripper himself, but they are the best Francesinhas in Porto by far, the ones in the center are laughable next to these, homemade and abundant. Friendly people and good service. If you are in the area, do not hesitate for a moment. 100% recommended

The weak point is the sauce, (it's not the only one, there are more and more each time) it went from a spicy sauce, to a sweet and sour sauce, in my case I don't like this sauce which is one of the main secrets of the francesinha.

A large steak without seasoning does not make a good francesinha. Weak sauce, gratin cheese that borders on dry, small plate that doesn't fit the potatoes, which are also frozen. Potato platter with no cutlery to hold it. Extremely expensive price/quality ratio. Francesinha + potato for 2 for €29?, little sauce and not very friendly staff, basic facilities reminiscent of a coffee shop that has been around for many years. I went on recommendation but they must have been crazy because I don't recommend it to anyone.

Very good Francesinha. One of the best in Porto, it's a shame it's in a somewhat hidden location. I recommend! I just came for lunch. The francesinha is still very good but they could improve on the fries

I give it four stars and I didn't give it five because I've been a customer for many years and the last time I went there my friends and I didn't receive good service, for example a friend arrived later ordered and only came to the table for a beer after more or less half an hour we called attention, the response didn't realize that he wanted a francesinha, not to mention the fried cockroaches.

I read the mixed reviews and nearly didn't come, but I was passing in the day and looked at the menu outside. A man came out and we chatted. The place looked lovely and clean and newly painted. He said 8pm to 9pm was a good time so I went back. He remembered me and we had brilliant service. He explained the menu and we picked the francesinhas but as they are huge decided to have one between us with chips, which was no problem. I have never had one before, but it was truly delicious. He put the piripiri sauce separately in case I did not like it. Give it a go, it's very reasonable and the drinks are no more than the local bars. We had beers and wine.
