I went to a place recommended by an acquaintance and came here in a hurry because it was break time.
As a result, the young bearded server explained things very kindly and the food was really good. I ordered seafood rice, octopus, garlic shrimp, and lots of port wine, and the bill for two adult men was about 130 euros. If you visit without high expectations, you will be really satisfied.

Last week, our family of three visited Porto and had an unforgettable dining experience at this restaurant. Coming from Asia with a deep appreciation for seafood, we were delighted by the quality and variety offered here. Even though the restaurant was bustling, we were seated promptly, which was impressive.
This spot became our favorite place for dinner and tapas after a day of exploring the city. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, adding to the overall excellent experience. Conveniently located near the Ponte Luís I Bridge and Praça da Ribeira, it’s perfectly situated for travelers. We highly recommend it for anyone visiting Porto.

First, you have to order and try the octopus.
All the food is delicious, and the wine is also delicious.
Seasoned correctly.

Very good cuisine and nice service. Banknotes left by previous guests on the walls from different countries add to the atmosphere of the interior.

Wow stumbled upon this restaurant in search of a place to grab dinner. The allowed us to be seated with no reservation and it was so worth it. We are traveling with a 5 1/2 year old and I will say they were amazing, they had kid options and the food wow oh wow! The chorizo appetizer was worth everything and more! The food and service was phenomenal. We got lucky but grateful it worked out. I highly recommend!

Legendary seafood rice?? & grilled pork belly?
I was trying to go to another restaurant, but the line was too long, so I ended up going to this place by chance! I was able to sit in the seat where my reservation was canceled. It was also full of people.
If you come to Porto, you must eat seafood rice~~
Three people ordered this.

FOOD POISONING RISK.
We went into this restaurant for dinner after reading the reviews. We thought we had a nice meal, the service was good and my family enjoyed their fish courses.
I ordered a medium steak, and I'd say it came a lot rarer than medium. I then ordered the chocolate mousse, which tasted good.
Unfortunately, a few hours later, I became very unwell with food poisoning, which lasted all night, and ruined the holiday. As my family and I ate the same thing all day apart from this meal, and they did not get ill, I am as certain as can be that this restaurant caused the food poisoning.
I really hope the restaurant can rectify this situation, as I wouldn't want anyone to else to suffer this.

Adega Dona Antónia was referred to us and the reviews drew us in and it did not disappoint. What a great restaurant! The staff was very nice and friendly and made us feel welcomed. We ordered the Padron peppers and Octopus and they were delicious! For dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse and the orange cake and those were both tasty. All great choices. We can’t argue with the 5 star rating.

Restaurantji Recommends
Reading the reviews we went to this restaurant with high expectations. Nice and friendly staff, but the quality - price ratio is not adequate.
The food was delicious, and the staff super friendly! The ambiance is a nice at-home feel.
The veal was really tender and juicy, and the garlic shrimp was flavorful, well prepared, and very high quality.
The octopus was flavorful and tender -- definitely a different softer texture than other ways of cooking it, if a fan of seafood do recommend it. You can ask for Piripiri hot sauce too.
The recommended wine from the staff was also great with the dishes we chose.

Amazing service and food. Had the seafood rice, Cod dumplings, and mixed salad. The waitress was very kind, offered to explain each dish and recommended an amazing bottle of wine. Their deserts are homemade, fresh and organic. Thank you, I’ll be back again soon!
