Adega Escondida offers delicious, homemade-tasting food with excellent desserts and a good wine list, including the recommended Lupucinus Reserva 2018. Standout dishes include Posta Mirandesa, Batata a murro, and the highly recommended Camembert cheese with honey as a starter. The service is 5-star, with fast and very kind staff. The atmosphere is small but extremely welcoming, making it a pleasant place to dine, though it could improve on maintaining a consistent temperature during power outages. Advance booking is recommended as space is limited. The restaurant is also noted for its good octopus rice with octopus fillets and very good vegetable soup. While the coffee could be better, the overall experience is worth a visit. Parking can be challenging, as it is next to Pr. 9 de Abril, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible with a ramp.
