We are from the US. We spent 2 days in Lisbon and took a train to Porto. We had the best dinner in Portugal at this restaurant. The owner is very engaged with the customers and extremely friendly. We are only in town for 2 days but plan to come back before we head back to the US. Exceptional service and food!! 10/10. Highly recommend!!!

A tough one … but probably leaning 4. To be honest, sort reviews by lowest and the same trend seems to go back two years. So it’s not a random night.
It’s a social experiment, and I feel Fernando could achieve so much more if he was a bit more transparent.
Welcomed like one of the family, drinks are always poured, food (whether you ordered it or not) comes out, and everyone around you is introduced. You feel like you arrived at your brother’s home.
The catch is - you are sort of stuck. Food takes a really really long time to arrive … and it was fine. Drinks are poured, but you really didn’t want more (and you’re paying for it). The snacks are interesting- but well… again not what you wanted to pay for. Shots come out, you have one to close out the night - but more shots come out. Hopefully you want to talk to the people next to you, or it’s going to be a long night.
I think this is the concept of the restaurant (if not I have no clue what’s going on), which I think is awesome. That being said, it would be good to set this expectation from the moment you come in.

Nice service and atmosphere. However you go to a restaurant for good food - which this place didn't provide. Waited for SO long for mediocre food - had a codfish dish and duck rice which were dry. Full of tourists only.
Phenomenal service from the owner and the entire team, especially Marcela, always attentive to Fernando. Great value for money with a fair price and full glasses. ? The food is spectacular. Hugs from our group of Portuguese, Venezuelan, Brazilian, French and me, the Mexican.;)

I went to all the highly rated spots to eat in Porto. This is was best meal. Low-key reasonably priced, the owner standing by. Exactly what I was looking for. I had a great salmon seafood appetizer and amazing seafood pasta. Great wine also. Unfortunately, it was my last night and won’t be able to return until next time.
