We recently had the opportunity to visit this restaurant through an Odisseias voucher that was offered to us. The experience, unfortunately, was not what we expected and fell short of expectations, for a place that has high prices and for the “Luxury Restaurant” reference it has on Google Maps.
Positive Points:
• The food, in fact, is tasty and well prepared. The lamb we ordered was well cooked, and the beef tartare was well prepared.
Negative Points:
• Service: Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed poorly trained and did not demonstrate the presentation expected in a restaurant of this caliber. There was a notable lack of professionalism, with loud conversations between them about requests for nearby tables, which came as a negative surprise, given the expectation of atmosphere and dynamics that we expected to find.
• Hygiene and Customer Service: During the meal, a hair appeared on the goat. We informed the employee, making it clear that we didn't want another dish, we just thought it was important to let him know. What surprised us was the lack of an adequate reaction: the employee insisted on offering a new dish, but at no point did he apologize or show any sign of surprise or concern. Furthermore, no one on the team, including the boss, came to the table to apologize, which left us with the impression that the problem wasn't even communicated to the boss. When the employee lifted the dishes, he still asked, as if nothing had happened, “so, was everything good?”, on complete autopilot.
• We ordered the house wine (Silica Red 2021), which should be served between 16-18ºC, but was presented completely chilled, possibly between 10-12ºC. We asked the employee about this, but his response was evasive, mentioning that the wine cellar would be at 14ºC and that if it was cold, it could be due to someone making a mistake and changing the temperature of the wine cellar. Even pointing out that the bottle and glasses were cold, the response was just a shrug, without any action to correct the error. In a restaurant like this, it would be expected that the employee would only be aware when picking up the bottle that the wine was not at a temperature close to suitable for serving.
The salad that accompanied the tartar was described as containing salad, walnuts and parmesan. However, there was a sauce at the bottom of the container that was not mentioned by the employee. This meant that we didn't enjoy the sauce properly, which would certainly have improved the experience, as the sauce was good.
• Price x Quality: Although we used a voucher, which covered most of the meal, we realized that the prices charged by the restaurant are extremely inappropriate in relation to the experience provided. Poor service and lack of attention to detail do not justify the amount charged to customers. Considering the value of our meal (around €45 per person for what we were served), we expected a much better experience.
In summary, the food is good, but the service and attention to detail need significant improvement. We do not recommend it to anyone looking for a complete gastronomic experience in line with the price charged.

I had higher expectations for the restaurant because the 10-stroke tasting menu caught my attention on the website. But that feeling went away when served by the waiter and he didn't even mention the experience. When I asked him, he replied that yes there was and that it cost 96 euros per person. I didn't ask about the price, but rather about the experience that wasn't on the menu that was given to me.
We preferred not to order the tasting menu and the dishes ordered were very tasty and well presented. Highlight for a dessert with turmeric.
The manager, or perhaps owner, was the one who saved the night by being very kind in responding to a request that was not foreseen.
Good food, good atmosphere, but the staff lacks training.
If you go there, book dinner early, before 8:30 pm.

Love this place! Exquisite, creative cuisine made with love for the local produce. But that’s not even the best part - the staff here is! Very knowledgeable, witty and courteous, and we really enjoyed the wine pairings that they recommended. Great value for money and definitely one of the most well-deserved additions to the Michelin guide. We are already planning our next visit to Porto to eat here while further exploring the city!

Worst experience we had on our trip to Porto! We made a reservation for this restaurant but upon arrival the owner was very rude and was yelling at us that there was no table for us. We told him we made a reservation but he told us that we were being rude. I do not recommend this to anyone!

My best restaurant in Porto. It does not mean there isn’t better, but that was my favorite.
The food is creative, ingenious and delicious.
The setting is a traditional 1950’s restaurant, vamped up with a touch of modernity.
The music is jazzy and played at the perfect volume.
The staff is professional, very friendly and helpful.
So much class in this restaurant!

Our dinner started with a Russian salad with herring that wasn't bad but for 9.50 we thought it was a tiny portion.
For mains we had a very well prepared old cow steak tartare but the portion was also too small for €30.
The other dish was pork, celery root and apple, also €30. Very tasty but expensive, it was pork, not beef.
For dessert, the sweet curry, coconut, mango and lime was very original, and they also had the nice touch of inviting us, I suppose because it was my birthday,
Correct wine list although with high prices. We had two Port wines with dessert and they were served at room temperature, a problem that needs to be solved.
The service staff is very efficient and friendly.
Good restaurant although with high prices for what is served.

Great dining experience. Their website talks about casual, & that it what it delivered; fine dining where the service is chill, knowledgeable and engaging, and the food creative & delicious. Great option for Porto. Tasting menu is way to go.
Vegetarian options: Veg separate menu available, including for tasting menu. Also vegetarian options all over the normal menu too
