We used viamichelin website for a restaurant in Porto and found Apego.It was a good decision to go here, we enjoyed it very much. We took the 5 course tasting menu with pairing wines. Each course we found very tasteful, with the pairing wine further elevating the flavors. To us the key world was balance. Each course fitted nicely with the predecessing course. A patchwork of excellent Portuguese products with a touch of very French flavors, all worked by a 100% female team in the kitchen, around Chef Aurora in a bistronomic spirit with magnificent plates exuding the 5 senses. A great time. Well done.

This Saturday is our last evening in Porto; We ate in a different restaurant each of our 13 evenings. Tonight was the absolute highlight, we can only recommend every visitor to Porto to visit Apego.
The five-course menu was balanced, tasted good, surprised with unexpected combinations (for example: beetroot with raspberries) and could not have been prepared better in terms of cooking. Kudos to the cooks.
