Bar gay-friendly but also single.woman.traveler-friendly ? I stopped in this bar that was on my way to go to my hotel. I asked for a drink and stayed here for maybe more than 2 hours. Good cocktails, good music and a special thanks to Pedro the bartender, really nice and made me feeling good. I enjoy!

This review is a long time coming. I had been a fan of this bar previously, and then a new owner took over (Pedro) and it seemed even better things would happen. I WAS WRONG!
I had arranged a huge event for June 2024 at the bar with Pedro weeks before the event. We even spoke and messaged several times to ensure I had what I needed. Then the week of the event arrived, and as I tried to message Pedro to confirm a few days before he DID NOT ANSWER. I tried several times, and even stopped by the bar a few times but he was never there. Then on the day of the event, when the bar was supposed to open early for our event, it was not open. When the bartender did arrive for the usual 17h opening, he had now clue about the event or where Pedro was.
I had to move the event down the street at the last minute, which for us worked out ok. BUT THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Pedro was completely unresponsive and unprofessional. He never even followed up to apologize.
We will never go to this bar again as he apparently has no intention of making any effort for customers, especially those who brought in a lot of business.
Also, even though the bartender they have (Vincent) is a very nice guy and does the best he can, he is usually alone so if the bar has more then 10 people the ability to get a drink is horrible.
I hope this honest review helps others to avoid the pains our function had with working with this bar owner.

A super cozy bar with nice and authentic staff. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back next time we visit Porto. The Drinks were very good!

I was there some time ago and it is much better than it is now. Last night I was celebrating an important date and I thought it would be the ideal place, on the contrary. They lowered the quality of the food at the same price. The first time I went there, the cheese board had a great variety of very good cheeses, but this time they served me sandwich cheeses, , it was not a special cheese at all. I asked for another beer and water, and instead of them bringing it to my table, they gave me the beer, a glass and water, I couldn't find a way to bring it to the table. The place is very neglected and the service is terrible. I won't go there again, that's for sure.
