The staff is amazingly friendly, all queer and up for a laugh.
The drinks were insanely good .
The drag show was out of this world, which was thrle cherry on top of this visit. I can't wait to be back!

Gay friendly, not very dancey vibe but the music was good. Very tame for a Friday but it was the first of the month

Best queer bar in Porto, for sure. Great atmosphere, good cocktails, and a plethora of board games if you need some icebreakers!

My experience at Bar of Soap was just amazing! Great atmosphere, friendly people, great drag show and DJ. Cocktails are great, service was also very good. A nice place to enjoy the gay night at Porto.

I would love to be able to say that the experience has been positive, but the evidence is clear. As I don't usually form an opinion based on unique experiences, I've been several times at different times and in fact the decision was made not to repeat. The drag show is quite amateurish, which is no harm, except when criticizing Porto's older drag scene, as if this amateurism were better. Drug consumption (cigarettes) often happens during the show, which doesn't seem entirely positive to me. Even worse is having to experience cocaine consumption by customers, in front of everyone. As for service, there are days. I've received very good service, but also the opposite. It also seems not very positive to me that after paying extra when there is a drag show, the artists are asked to make "donations". Because the entire show is quite weak.
Prices for drinks and other consumption seem perfectly affordable to me, but overall the environment is quite toxic.

5€ to enter... 4.5€ a shoot. The only beer they serve is IPA. They take advantage of being considered one of the only gay bars in Porto.

Why do they ask me for 5€ entrance? It’s a boring bar with no atmosphere

Very accepting and welcoming and an absolute vibe. I don’t have much need to say how wonderful this bar is the space is a little cramped but I still enjoyed it very much. If you’re looking for a fun time with fun people and happy legends this is the right spot. Drinks are not too expensive but they are a little higher than usual. But you pay for what want. They had drag queens come in and liven up the party. I had a Porto tonic for the first time. It was ok not the most amazing drink I’ve ever had honestly. But it was worth a try.
