If you are looking for a light and tasty meal, I highly recommend this place.

Located close to the Douro, the place offers a calm and modern atmosphere, perfect to rest after running the crowded streets of the Ribeira.

After finding a seat - the place is small, so it might be difficult - you will be able to order from a small menu. It's a good point: you won't have to go through a long list of recipes, and can focus on the few items on the list.

The place offers contemporain takes on Portuguese classics, in portions just big enough to feed one person. I recommend the hot codfish dish, minced and mixed with eggs and veggies, and coming with bread sticks. To finish your meal, I also recommend the pastel de nata - one of the best I've eaten so far in Portugal.

I removed one star due to the service, which felt a bit long. But the quality of the meal was worth the wait. As one of the waiters told me that day, "it's about the food, right?".

We ordered brunch. Raspberry juice added to the yoghurt tasted like what you would get on a mr whippy.
The focaccia toast was stale and the poached egg boiled. Orange juice so bitter it was undrinkable and no decaf for coffee. Overall definitely not worth 15euros.
Staff were absolutely perfect however and saved from a lower rating.
Atmosphere a bit cramped.

Everything was pretty good, the focaccia was the weakest, the rest was good, the beer was super blocky. Price somewhat high for Portugal. The terrace sites are sloping and quite narrow.

Very nice place, if you're lucky you can sit outside with a view of the water and watch the hustle and bustle. The service is super friendly - you always get a smile. The food is very tasty, but the portions are small and a little expensive. All in all, we would always come back.

A little slow, but what a delight! Be careful, they charge you 5 EUR for each small dish of olive as a starter that you didn't ask for...
