Place located along the Douro on the less chaotic and congested side with tourists. This gives the place a beautiful romantic atmosphere which, combined with the view of the bridge, is truly exceptional. The staff is trained and very helpful. The dishes are simple and varied.

Lovely restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and the food was great. Would definitely recommend. Most tables looked reserved so would suggest booking if planning to go during peak hours.
I do not recommend the cod salad in any way. The rest we had for dinner was good value for money. Instead of Bayleis they offered me a Portuguese liqueur that was good, but 7.5 eu watered down was not what I was looking for. The place has a lot of charm and the employees are very polite and attentive.

A very laid back and budget friendly Portuguese tapas restaurant with a nice view. I can definitely recommend their alheira, omelete de batata and cod fish salad. The wine list is also rather decent. The man who worked there was very friendly and helpful. Overall a good and relaxed dining experience away from the touristic commotion.
