We tried the house Francesinha. It was good, yes, but I would like to make some changes, namely the sauce, which I would like to have had a little more salt, to give it more body and the slices of bread could have been either a little less tall or not as toasted. I think that a francesinha should allow you to taste all its layers in just one bite, which was not possible given its height.
But overall, we really enjoyed the experience. ????

If the Bugatti francesinha steak were more tender, in the sense of having less nerve, we would undoubtedly have a champion francesinha. Everything else is impeccable. Quality sausages, an old-fashioned sauce and a space to taste the specialty just as old-fashioned.

Friendly staff, atmosphere and feels like an authentic Portuguese restaurant.

Great experience. I was with a friend. We both ordered francesinha. It's not the best in Porto but, to my taste, one of the best. Well served, well prepared sauce, perhaps a little more spicy and less acidity. Friendly service and a very rustic and old atmosphere. Highly recommended and, without a doubt, to be repeated.
