Great location but ( probably because of this) it is a bit of a tourist trap. Wanted a pizza as quite tired after travelling all day. Chose the BBQ Pollo as expected this to have flavour. Unfortunately the flavour was in the sauce not the meat.

waited for ages to order our food and then for it to arrive. staff was extremely demotivated. food was average at best and not worth the price. bathroom was flooded. overall not a good experience.

These people went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed the meal. We will be eating here again. I wanted piri piri chicken, which wasn't on the menu. They went out of the way to produce one, and it was fantastic. The price was good also.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but sadly I have to. Service wasn’t great and neither was the food. My partner chose the traditional tomato soup to start which was cold, I had the lapas which were quite chewy. I’m not sure if that’s how they were supposed to be? We shared a fish platter which was overcooked and uninspiring. This was an impulsive meal which we did not research. A lesson learned!

Surprised by the poor reviews. Came having not read the reviews and was so good we returned on our last evening. Scabbard was lovely but the star of the show was the filet on the spit. Excellent service, great food and a great location.

I was persuaded to try the scabbard. Nice fish but not as tasty as promised. The accompanying banana fritter was gorgeous. Overall lovely meal and attentive service. Expected bigger prices being in this location but pleasantly suprised.

If only I’d read the reviews before sitting down :-/ Service was v slow & poor overall-took 45min at least for simple pasta dishes to be served & that was after a polite word. Drinks were served quickly though. Additionally, we requested Parmesan…had to chase that up. Requested the bill…had to chase that up. Loo paper…yeah had to chase that up too! My response now to the young waiter (the older ones actually seemed embarrassed) who said ‘we’re busy & trying really hard’…well I work hard too & am often busy, but that doesn’t mean it’s ok for you to take my hard earned for this level of service-you’ve gotta take stock on what’s going wrong here & try to improve. Food itself was actually really nice, so it’s a shame (table next sent theirs back). We paid in full, no tip & no offer of reduction despite waiters apologising when we paid. As we left they came out with a tuna dish for a table…wrong table, then just went round asking every table who ordered :-/ Get a grip!!!

Third time to come here! Only drink’s tonight, but twice eating. Very good restaurant and having read the bad reviews I strongly disagree! Good service, good food, great location and staff are very welcoming ? so please try for yourself and ignore the poor reviews ??

Delicious!!! I am so happy Marco stopped by the restaurant and invited me to try their food. Tuba was amazing and the service the best. Definitely I will be back soon.
This restaurant is really disappointing when it comes to food. Prawns Diablo were way too salty, I don't mind the heat of chilli, but this sauce was made jus with a handful of cayenne pepper and some form of runny sauce with 5 prawn swimming in it. Grilled pork scewers had no seasoning at all. Also pork were medium rear in some parts and others well done. and don't get me wrong, I don't mind my pork nicely done when is juicy medium done correctly..., however this wasn't the case. Charcuterie platter was disaster. looks like it was combined from processed meats from supermarket also cured meat were air dry and cheese was already sweaty. I believe said enough "Do your self a favour, STAY AWAY

Went this place for lunch ordered Salmon...it was raw..told the staff..it came back over cooked it seemed that it had been microwaved and returned. It was inedible. After further complaining I asked for the bill reduced...got offered a 4 euro reduction ...the attitude of staff stinks definitely give this place a miss

I wish l had read the reviews on Trip Advisor before deciding to eat here. The service is very slow. We waited along time for our meal with no apology when l asked how much longer it would be. When it arrived the meat skewers were cold.

Excellent spot for a cheeky prosecco at 11am. Right in the centre of the city next to the Cathedral. Band playing outside some days. Good service and lovely clean toilets.

The nearest restaurant to the cathedral, so in a good spot. We first went for afternoon coffee, and decided to return later on another day for dinner. Bad decision, we should have consulted TA. Service was very slow. A couple on the next table left before the food was delivered. Others were also waiting a long time. The waiter said they had asked for more staff in the kitchen, but the owner had not responded positively. To top it all, when our fish arrived it was overcooked. We were disappointed, this place is best avoided until improved.
