Excellent option to eat and have a drink in the area, the prices are very good and they have a very complete daily menu, you can take out your laptop and work but there is nowhere to connect it.

The cafe located in Porto's music building. Nice, a bit expensive, but refreshing after an hour and a half tour of the building itself.

The service is much worse than it was. More than half an hour to be seen.
Renewed concept, usual poor service.
A space with so much potential but woefully poorly managed.
If you're looking for a place to have coffee or lunch, I can't recommend this one.
Every trip to Café Casa da Música always involves an infinite wait and there are few times when we manage to be served.
For those who sit on the terrace, the chances of being able to place an order are minimal. After more than 30 minutes sitting on the terrace we gave up and ended up leaving without having any coffee, this isn't the first time this has happened.
In a space as central and emblematic as this, it is expected that at least customers will be able to be served.

Given that I was accompanied by friends and as a guest of the singer, who was performing there, the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant. Instead, the service fell short of expectations, as Casa da Música deserved a café with service to match. This is because the service was slow and the service was confusing. Well, not only were they mistaken in the order but also in the bill. The customer service department confronted me while I was waiting for friends and family to arrive, then with the bill to be paid, when it wasn't even correct. As for the quality of the food, reasonable. Ideal for a type of brunch, as for dinner, I don't recommend it.

Saint John's Day, the restaurant was closed, but it had a menu and the terrace was open... when we arrived we had a table for 5 people, they were super friendly and they came right away to place the order, so far everything was fine... 3 soups were ordered which took around 45 minutes. many arrived, after complaining, the 3 soups appeared... main course was ordered steaks which for me were super tough, one of the people ordered sardines and said he couldn't eat 2 because they were crushed... and after eating We immediately ordered dessert, coffee and a bill as we didn't want to spend São João sitting on the terrace waiting any longer. The waitress came with the coffees before the desserts... we paid €28.50 each for 3 soups, 4 steaks with potatoes, 1 sardines with potatoes and 5 lime cheesecakes and 4 coffees... I thought it was a robbery... not to mention that only We realized that it was a menu after all... the experience was not positive, there was a lack of organization in the restaurant... even because the terrace wasn't full... I imagine if it had been... we appreciate the discount and Mr.'s friendliness. In a black blazer!

There wasn't even any experience, because first I had to sit down to be attended to. I informed the employees that it was take away, being the only way they could serve me at the counter, but they still refused to serve me, claiming that I couldn't get it because I was alone, there were 3 employees in my presence, the whole situation was simply ridiculous. My daughter ended up going to the rehearsal without being able to bring water and a croissant because the staff refused to help me if I didn't sit down!! Lack of organization and desire, quite honestly, they were rude and unprofessional.

Nice space but terrible service.
First we arrived and sat down and soon after another guy at another table sat down and even then he was served first. They took the menu, placed the order and only then came back to make ours.
The waiter was super unfriendly.
I placed the order, showed a photo of the sangria I wanted and it still came with different sangria than the photo I showed.
I said I wanted it like the one in the photos because the last time I visited the cafe they told me they were white.
Super unfriendly and bad-tempered waiter. Terrible service.
The only good service I received was when paying with the girl.

The waiter took the order in bad taste and brought us the wrong drinks, they apologized but did not change them.

Excellent service, calm. In my opinion, I think it would be good to have a song from the next Music House to create a beautiful environment.

When it's sunny, there's a fantastic terrace.
I just stopped by to listen to a song that was playing (rock) and I loved it.

The new management of the space brought new life to the Casa da Música café. Greater variety, table service and friendliness.
