I went with a friend of mine and it seems like they were upset that we were there. The food was very good, the cafe was half empty and the service was horrible. The waiter was on top of us all the time to see if we were going to order more things while we were still eating. There was live music, so that was a positive thing. The last thing is that when we went to pay, they were already too rude and practically rushed us out. I remember the cafe was half empty...

Preserved coffee, but they don't know what a "milk sock" and a "toast" are...
They are not Portuguese, they kept the place intact, but they don't know the Portuguese customs of a Café with this charisma in Porto... A shame.

We were pleasantly surprised by our delicious meals at Cafe Ceuta! We were immediately greeted by kind and accommodating hosts. Inside, it was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts even recommended some dishes both at the restaurant as well as during our visit to Portugal. They even invited us to try some ports and come back for fado on Sunday. Would definitely recommend!

Vegetarian options: The Quinoa Bulgur bowl was delicious!!

We had dinner here on our first night visiting Porto and we couldn't choose a better place than this. The service and food were 10/10. The friendliness of both the waiters and the owner made us feel at home. 100% recommended to eat here.

Thank you very much for the good treatment and the details you gave me and my partner when I was celebrating my birthday.

We waited for cold starters (ham and carpaccio) for almost one hour, one main course dish was forgotten, so the daughters shared one meal. The situation was very bad and one of the daughters got a kind of crisis. Unbelievable, I will remember it for the rest of my life.

I don't know if it was because I went with a large group that we were served worse, but most people ordered francesinha and the sauce was very watery and didn't taste like francesinha sauce, nothing like the photos I saw here in the reviews. I ate the vegetarian francesinha, I wasn't expecting much, but those who ate meat complained of the same problem with the sauce and that the bread was too toasted. The fries were ok, some were a little raw. The waiters had no initiative, some didn't speak Portuguese and made the mistake of serving the francesinhas, they gave the vegetarian one to someone else who only realized it when they started eating. I think it had great potential (at least for the meat francesinhas), as the space is pleasant, but it is being poorly used, unfortunately. Even the billiards were out of order.

It wasn’t bad food. Nothing special. One of your waitresses was absolutely lovely and very professional. Unfortunately the other one was rude, didn’t speak and our food took nearly an hour to come.

A restaurant a little out of the way but close to the 2 party streets. I recommend their meat is divine, the butter and the lemon tart and caramel tart desserts are to die for.
The service is also very pleasant and the setting charming.
I recommend.
