The dollar sign has been good for years.

good menus the francesinha is not the best in the world but it is one of the best in Porto, it easily competes with many “bragging” cafes… price and quality. Simple

A good discovery in the city of Porto.

After a morning of walking around the city, we ended up stopping at this establishment by chance thanks to a very attractive window with visually very appetizing sandwiches.

A typical Porto and Portuguese cafe restaurant without much fuss, just simple and mostly GOOD food at affordable prices for the inhabitants of Porto.

My wife and I stopped here the other night after a long day of travel. I'm really glad we did because the food was wonderful. We had the francesinha which was amazing (and we've had many over the years) and the beer was fresh and cold. More importantly the staff were patient with us as we're tourists and our Portuguese is pretty non-existent. We would definitely recommend Café Cifrão to anyone visiting Porto for a awesome local restaurant experience. Obrigado!
